Wolfskuil leftfield Limted series welcomes another newcomer to it’s roster. Jason Courtney a.k.a. Simplicity Is Beauty has left his mark on the electronic scene with stunning releases on Heavy Reel and The Public Stand. Characterized by complex, emo ridden melodies and enormous attention for detail, we jumped on the chance to do a release with this talented young producer.

Allthough he has created a very recognizable sound, his music can’t be labeled by a single genre, as will be even more apparent in his ‘Fragments’ release. On this EP he goes all out: from Aphexian electro (Fragments 1), to Detroitian ambient (Fragments 3), from John Carpenter styled horror soundtracks (Fragments 4) to slow house where he even plays some guitar licks live (Fragments 2).
