Early Support From Surgeon, Shifted, Perc, Steve Rachmad & Many More. Alpha Code Is The Project Of A Milanese Producer Who Was Inspired By The Emerging Techno Scene In Italy During The Early 90s.

Sales Information:

Komisch goes back in time for the story behind its fifteenth release. Alpha Code is the project of a Milanese producer who was inspired by the emerging techno scene in Italy during the early 90s.

Seeking to translate the mind-bending sounds of Lory D, ACV and Sandro Galli, he bought some basic equipment and started to experiment. But just as he was about to start releasing techno records in 1996, he was offered the chance to script a small film in Hollywood.

That job saw him moving to LA, where he now works full-time as a soundtrack writer and producer. By chance, on a recent visit back to Milan to see his parents, he was going through some belongings and found some dust-covered demos from early 1996.

Inspired by the raw techno sounds on the demo, he returned to his studio and created 'Brave New World' and 'Kazohinia', two driving tracks that resonate with insistent analogue bleeps, firing percussion, swirling synths and brooding bass pulses.

This is the first time that Alpha Code's music has been available on vinyl and Komisch is proud to put out tracks by one of Italy's past masters.

FEEDBACK
early support comes from:

Surgeon (Dynamic Tension): "I like Kazohinia most here."
Shifted (Avian): "This sounds great.. right up my street."
Perc (Perc TRax): "I like it. Definitely a Mills influence there but it is in there without it getting it turning into a Millsian genre exercise. I prefer the 1st track as it is less droney."
Samuli Kemppi (Deep Space Helsinki): "Great release from Alpha Code. Really like both tracks. Full support from me."
Steve Rachmad (100% Pure): "I prefer Brave New World."
Billy Nasty (Tortured): "Another Killer release from Komisch."
Paul Mac (Stimulus): "Kazohinia is the one for me; on first listen classy Millsian vibes definite plays from me."
Brendon Moeller (Steadfast): "Kazohinia is the one for me, thanks."
Marcel Heese (Tresor): " Both tracks are really up my alley. Super nice techno! Will definitively play them a lot."
Eric Cloutier (Bunker NY): "Both tracks are properly deep and droning, but I'm more partial to the b-side on this one, I think. It's a bit wonky at times, but it works damn well. The entire thing should be perfect slightly pitched down, which is just how i like it!"
Dimi Angeles (Smallville): "Play the B side. Nice one!
Lee Holman (Kawl): "Solid release here, I especially like Kazohinia!"
The Parallel (Balans): "Excellent release, both tracks are very good but I prefer Kazohinia out of the two. Quality stuff."
Paul Boex (Triple Vision): "Loving this old school hypnotic stuff! Thanks for sending!"
Sev Dah (Gynoid/Komisch): Thank you for this amazing new Komisch beast! I just can't get enough of "Kazohinia"! The beat is complex and forward going just how i like it,and the synth is pure brain sex, as a whole just amazing huge tune and I'm sure i will play this for a long long time! "
P God (Komisch): "Both are really nice!"
