From the ska era to reggay, Earth Sound, the roots of roots, brings you rare and exclusive tunes fully remastered for a crisp sound on vinyl. The first release is the ultra rare Earth Sound, a bongo-led instrumental by The Mountaineers, featuring rocksteady session man Aubrey Adams and best jazz guitarist on the island: Ernest Ranglin. Recorded in 1970 at Dynamic Sounds, this session had been produced by the late Sonia Pottinger (I was one for drums). This is rasta-going-spiritual jazz. This is Africa talking to the world through Jamaica. This is bongo man jazz! Limited edition of 500 copies.
