The Soft Rocks collective feature twice on the upstart Black Rox label with two heavily tribal remixes for a so far unknown artist. The Soft Rocks take on *Filaw* is wrapped in horns and jungle sounds - not too far off a 1970s Brian Jackson and Gil Scott Heron collaboration. On the flip is a possible Talking Heads reference in *Once In A Life Time*, which gathers mesmeric African drums and percussion, grooving in harmony to ritualistic chant. A Mohican David Byrne perhaps?
