Sales Information:

Mixed by Ash Workman (Klaxons /Metronomy), the LP features iTunes ‘Single of the Week’, Who Will Love You Now, andshowcases the band’s unique brand of garage disco, NYC indie with the light-heartedness of Australian pop. Here, the Brisbane quartet’s electronic influences no longer comply with a classic pop pigeonhole. Armed with a dreamy astral delivery, vintage analogue warmth and summery sounds, this record is steeped in disco cool. Having supported the likes of Darwin Deez, Foster The People, The Whitest Boy Alive, Neon Indian, Little Dragon, Bag Raiders and more, Mitzi have also used their production skills to remix artists such as Two Door Cinema Club (Kitsune), Cassian (Bang Gang 12"s), Lo Fi Fnk and Jinja Safari. In the past 18 months they’ve been named one of NME’s Buzz Artists and have been featured in Russh Magazine, MTV and Waves Surfing Magazine. They were also named inthemix Best Local Newcomer for 2011 and were finalists in the Q Music Awards. Book ending a hugely successful year with a glowing review on iconic online destination, Pitchfork, the foursome were also recently announced to showcase at SXSW in 2013. Mitzi are no novices when it comes to their live resume - having previously played sets at Parklife, Splendour In The Grass (DJ) and Stereosonic music festivals. The band just returned home after a nation wide tour including shows at Melbourne Music Week and a sold-out show in their home state. “With brief exhalations for verses, toe-tapping guitars, and synths sparkling intermittently in the background, “All I Heard” strives for that blissful feeling of mindlessness above all else.“ - Pitchfork[txt from ]
