Known to spend hours sifting through old records in search of the perfect groove, their sound retains a distinctly nostalgic aesthetic, which is perfectly showcased in their debut EP for 1trax. Transparent green vinyl pressing.
The ‘Our Society’ EP is 3 tracks of disco-tinged deep house built around infectious warm basslines and funk laced guitar fills. Whilst ‘The G’ and ‘WBLS’ explore a slightly more dubbed out tip, while the title track boasts serious dance floor appeal with its tracky approach.
The Secret Society’s identity will remain anonymous but with their debut release already picking up support from a who’s who of the house music elite, their music most certainly won’t be going unnoticed.[info from label]
