After a superb 2011 for Crosstown Rebels, they are now proud to present their next album, Amirali >In Time<. Tipped as a one to watch for 2012 (Mixmag), Iranian/Canadian producer Amiralis debut album is truly exceptional, a subtle combination of house, techno, funk, electronica and downbeat with indie sensibilities. The album is reminiscent of Depeche Mode, Radiohead, Underworld and Art Department all through a modern electronic paradigm. Amirali features on vocals on the album and is already being widely, regarded as one of the most accomplished debut albums of recent years. His recent single Beautiful World (featuring remixes from Deniz Kurtel, Daniel Bortz & Hrdvsion) was met with rapturous appeal gaining an ever-increasing legion of fans. In Time is a fantastic body of work, from the hit singles My Way, Beautiful World and Just An Illusion to the down tempo Painting On A Canvas and Last Words, the album is full of beautiful sonic vignettes. Other highlights include the broken beat Whisper, the infectious Hear Me and the mammoth Sounds Of My Life. Just An Illusion will be released shortly after the album featuring MK, Franck Roger and Appleblim remixes. Amirali has succeeding in producing a mesmeric and consummate body of work. The album has already been playlisted on NPR and looking like another big album release for Crosstown Rebels.
