Sub bass and funky rhythms set the stage for the dramatic, soulful strings that build up until unleashing in ecstatic fury. The arrangement takes things back down, allowing everyone to catch their breath for a moment before ratcheting back up for one final flash of energy. “Untitled” is a distinctive twist on a classic style of techno, only possible from the 412.

AA. “Monongahela Rainforest” is the soundtrack for Pittsburgh’s hot, humid summertimes along the three rivers. Dubbed out drum machines echo through the valley, and percussive synths flutter like exotic birds hunting for prey. Beautiful electric piano chords make things feel almost serene, until the groove switches up and the kick and subs pound any brave explorers into the ground. Those who make it through the dense underbrush are rewarded with many gorgeous sights previously unseen, replete with pitched percussion and synthetic strings to celebrate the occasion.
