Founded in 2002 by Belgian DJ/producer, Marco Bailey, MB Elektronics has grown into one of the most recognizable brands in European techno. With a catalogue of over 60 releases, including tracks from Joey Beltram, The Advent & Industrialyzer, Cristian Varela and of course Marco himself, the label has maintained its popularity with DJ's across the spectrum from Carl Cox, Umek and Billy Nasty through to James Zabiela, Dubfire, Fergie and Spektre.

One of the long-term contributors to MB Elektronics, RedHead (aka Steve Vangilbergen) is one of the stalwarts of Belgium's well-respected techno scene. Now in his twentieth years as a producer, RedHead's style of funky and hard loops has proved popular across Europe with regular performances at landmark events such as At Love Techno, Nature One and Awakenings.

Opening up the EP, title track Disco Me, is pure funky techno at its infectious best. Centered on a simple bass loop and driven along by slamming beats, the unfussy, retro feel of this track will be embraced by many current DJs.

Over Siberia picks up the pace and increases the intensity. Heavy beats and a relentless chugging bassline make for a rolling, heads-down groove while a combination of synth lines provides a contrasting melodic element to the track

Finally, I Dare To Face Him rounds off the EP with a moody, stripped back vibe created by mechanical percussion and a nasty throbbing bassline. A blend of a rising tone and washes of white noise and provides the drama.
