Relaunch of the legendary Tresor label! The first new release is by Future Beat Alliance. With such synergy in his music it is easy to understand why artists such as Carl Craig and Laurent Garnier have become avid fans.

"It was just a name I came up with years ago when I had been up all night...If I made some music to express how I was feeling it would make me feel better The machines helped.

Future Beat Alliance, AKA Matthew Puffett, is the latest singing to Berlins Tresor Records; label mate to Jeff Mills, Robert Hood, Drexciya, Surgeon, Cristian Vogel and many more legendary names of Techno. With a modest but mighty discography FBA should feel right at home at the techno institute, his distinction being 'Machines Can Help,' the latest release from his arsenal of soundscape Techno. Bringing a lost aesthetic that utilizes keen production and a pursuit for progressing the music with visions of the future.

Future Beat Alliance began Producing and releasing records back in 1996 on Void Records, moving to the revered Ferox label and Italy's Archive label during the late 90's. The debut Long Player 'Disconnected' was released on Amsterdam based Delsin Records in 2000 and since then a string of successful 12"s have come via Emoticon, Versatile, Suicide, Exalt, Recondite and Rush Hour recordings. The latter being home to the release 'Dark Passenger' awarded the coveted title of DJ Magazines single of the month. In 2009 Future Beat Alliance debuted his live set at Panorama Bar and Watergate, remixed Danny Howells and Unkle and released an ambient album on Stefan Robbers label Eevonext and completed the 'Machines Can Help' EP for Tresor Records.
Spread across three tracks 'Machines Can Help' is homage to the art of Nightclubbing. The opening track 'Simulation' was written specifically for a live performance at Berlins Watergate late 2009. The EP's title track 'Machines Can Help' was the antidote to the painful aftereffects of a good night out. As the EP hits its mid-point stride you will experience the medicinal value of this idea as strings lift you to the "astral plane,' just before being thrown back into the depths of the dance floor with closing track 'Cross Dissolve.' With its pounding kick drum and Acid Line, interspersed with lush soundscapes, a class demonstration into Future Beats Alliances signature productions and arrangements. The EP is a wonderful hybrid of the dance floor and the ethereal moments that follow; when the body and the mind no longer connect but still work in perfect harmony! With such synergy in his music it is easy to understand why artists such as Carl Craig and Laurent Garnier have become avid fans.
