A side: Patte d Oie is the name of a neighborhood in Dakar, Senegal, where Dachshund was hanging out back in the days. This track is infused with the sounds of cora, a West African guitar, and wrapped in a heavy drum-kick that fluctuates from highs to lows, creating a hypnotic bass line. B side: Bread. The second track is a smoother work that keeps us going with a steady rhythm, airy yet solid like a cloud that cannot evaporate

Welcome to CLAPPER, a new recording label run by Geneva-based producers Dachshund and Quenum, longtime collaborators and friends. Quenum and Dachshund, who have worked together previously on tracks and in live appearances, founded CLAPPER to have the freedom to release their music with complete spontaneity. Their musical kinship is based on an open approach and a taste for what is unpretentious yet complex; a preference for groovy music crafted under the influence of emotions, not fashion. Dachshund and Quenum will alternate their work on each release, so look out for the upcoming CLAPPER 002 by Quenum. In the meantime, check out this track and enjoy the show !
