Detroit Underground returns for their much anticipated ninth edition of their now legendary compilation series. Featuring some of the label s biggest artists, namely Funkstorung, Richard Devine and Jimmy Edgar, the ninth edition sees the label return to its more experimental roots after a successful, albeit brief foray into a more hip-hop and club-oriented music in the series seventh and eighth editions. While number nine, still puts you on the dance-floor, the release s forays into IDM, Acid and Experimental sounds recall earlier DU records and further Detroit Underground s reputation as a label that is not afraid to take chances
