karlmarx kommen nicht aus trier wie der gleichnamige Ökonom und kommunismusvordenker, sondern aus neuseeland. isaac aesili (opensouls, recloose) und mark mcneill machen musik, die von der dunklen seite des mondes kommt. sie lassen electronica, techno, synthie-pop, industrial, soul und instrumentalen hip hop verschmelzen. das verblüffende ergebnis klingt so, als hätte man im genlabor mit dem erbgut von human league, kraftwerk und vangelis seinen spaß gehabt.
