its been a productive month for the mood ii swing boys. the follow up to last months passing time, a collaboration with vocalist lauren, is a fantastically deep disco record that moves and shakes along with the best of them. the bouncy, wobbling bassline of the main mix simply demands to be grooved to, while laurens husky vocal glides along the airy pads and cheeky synth stabs. the dub foregoes the bassline of the original, opting instead for a more top heavy sound and taking the record in a pleasantly techy direction
