daniel sternberg, eightyaxt years old, born naive and innocent in berlin, has been a dj and producer since the early 90s. since then, using the artist names daniel steinberg and harry axt, he has produced numerous tracks, remixes, and a mix-cd on labels such as kiddaz.fm, front room recordings, micro.fon,, and leftroom. his debut album, planet axt, comes out on 02.03.2009 on the label of his booking agency rompecabeza. the vinyl version presents eight as of yet unreleased tracks.

rompecabeza is excited to announce the debut release from bradler & dualton, the highly talented newcomers out of cologne! on their new release they deliver 3 functional, outstanding tracks, heavily and beautifully arranged- all with the necessary portions of funk, house and of course, that unmistakable rompecabeza sound...

after the extremely successful filmmusik ep on rompecabeza, holgi star is back with >not for me<. the ep consists of two tracks with technoid crossover potential! on >not for me< bits of african vocals meet functional techno and seamlessly weave together into a quite sexy and rather danceable number. all the while >dont feel it< coolly, calmly, and with just enough repetition, establishes its class and style without unneeded flourishes. both tracks were extensively tested by the rompe crew at sonar 2008 in barcelona, and reactions spoke of the potential both of the artist and the ep itself!!!

not another promo text!?!? we find that all of the music produced by harry axt speaks volumes, therefore we simply (and happily!) offer you these two new tracks. it s worth mentioning that this is the last ep from harry axt before his album release in october on rompecabeza music. the whole summer he will indulge in a production break, so that he may doze in the sun, test every type of beer possible, demolish enormous amounts of grilled meat and danish ice cream, and then completely concentrate this replenished creativity on his debut album. then, while the sun fades away for another season, he will let the sunshine back into our ears…

after the last techno bomb from alexi delano he now gives holgi star as well as production partner harry axt the honour to supply another burner on rompecabeza! all 3 tracks deliver in the usual rompe-style, making it impossible for anyone to keep their legs still. very deep elements ranging from reduced to trippy with a fat portion of groove results in pure listening pleasure for everyone who likes to party

nils ohrmann moved to berlin in the middle of the 90s, where he knew the rave culture was in full bloom- from e-werk to ostgut. he himself was a dj at the infamous schnabelbar in kreuzberg for eight years. since 2004 he has been a resident at rosis in friedrichshain. in may 2009 he made his first ep for hula hoop recordings (a sub-label of rompecabeza), which was a hit in the berlin clubs. coming up next is catalog number 2: >green sleeves<.

hula hoop is a new sublabel from rompecabeza music. the first artist on hula hoop is nils ohrmann who comes along with 4 perfect summer tunes!

9volt-musik says welcome to one of our favourite artists harry axt is remixing the succesful wubb die klick die ep from timo jahns. after great releases on rompecabeza, grand petrol, kiddazfm and many more he produced a very nice housy styled remix with his typical vocal action. the second remix comes from 9volts labelhead alex kork. a freaky techno mix with contrabass played by giovanni (play it and you will know whats meant ,). wubb wubb...
