lirik is a concept made by libe & trik (lucian rotaru & constantin leonard), two romanian producers who became friends thanks to music it self. discovering they have the same feel and taste in music they got together and gave birth to these 4 mind-blowing tracks. the minimal sound & breaks with some vocal jazzy influences make this ep unique, original, happy and deep in the same time.

welcoming trikk to truesoul, he brings the quality we have come to expect from both label and artist. kicking off with houx 93 uses a dubbed out, sleazy bass line and a killer vocal hook to full effect in this tough, house killer. harvey mckays remix makes use of the vocal and adds some naughty percussion to create an uncompromising groove.

ltd repress - burner! massive! wird bereits von solomun, trikk, musumeci, lehar u.a. in jedem ihrer sets gespielt. hier kommt die erste maxiauskopplung aus mr raoul k’s album “african paradigm”. und was für eine! die a-seite birgt einen killertrack, dunkel aber schimmernd schön. ein wirbelndes pad und treibende beats führen den tack erst in eine dunkelheit und dann geht die sonne auf, wenn sona diabate’s stimme reinkommt. ihr kraftvoller gesang flutet licht über alle schatten und der track schafft den spagat zwischen: “putting you in a trance und raise your hands in the air”. eleganz und energie. auf der b-seite: der kaito remix von “african paradigm”, eine zwölf-minuten freigeistige glückseligkeit mit einem unwiderstehlichen groove. das ist mr raoul k’s trademark: organische sounds, traditionelle instrumente der elfenbeinküste, und funkelnde soundlandschaften - wundervoll geschmückt mit mysteriösen vocals.
