electro producer and cultivated electronics label owner phil bolland aka sync 24s highly anticipated debut album is coming up. inside the microbeat is a triple lp with esoteric and futuristic dance floor tracks mixed with enchanting experimental melodies.

following in the footsteps of his first release, audition is now back with another hard-hitting, no compromise ep. things kicks off with “sync” a prime time banger track, while “altered vision” has a more soft side to it with its squelchy synth lines while remaining very playable. on the flip side, “the dictator” goes back to more relentless rhythms and heavy sequences, and the ep ends up with “in substance” with its ghost-like melodies.

lybes dimem is a project by visual artist and musician lukas rehm. with elaborate beat structures and the use of error, the music plays with cognitive phenomena and abstraction while maintaining an emotional refuge. lybes dimem is presented in formats ranging from spatial sound experiences to synesthetic shows complementing the auditive layers with visualizations of realtime data, computer graphics and moving image. lukas rehms installative art, and compositions have been internationally presented and awarded with multiple emerging arts prices. syncleft chronem is the first album released by lybes dimem in both digital and vinyl for-mat and accompanied by a moving image artwork. the title reflects the projects interest in the potential of difference, cognitive frictions and exertion: sync variability in the processing of auditive and visual signals, syncleft the synaptic cleft, which is a crucial empty spa- ce in biological neural networks, chronem the chroneme as a theoretical unit to measure the time of an articulated sound. mathematically clean sounds juxtapose patterns and transitions familiar from the realm of organic acoustics. multi-layered noise textures ex- plore the simulated space. a tem- porary continuity is provided by percussive and melodic elements, right until the next escalation, eventually awaiting a concluding resolution. the visual language explores different phenomena and techniques of cognition inspired by the rhetorics of big science (computer graphics, discontinuity of material, pop cultural references).

this project is a long distance collaboration between two amazing artists: andrea noce and david kristian during the year 2013. each track have been made after set up basic guidelines (style, tempo, structure, and workflow).

die vierte veröffentlichung des labels parallel minds kommt von einem langjährigen freund des labels und einem der eigenwilligsten künstler der stadt, vibrant matter. als schlagzeuger, produzent, filmkomponist, dj und veteran der experimentellen popszene der stadt fasziniert kieran adams musik uns beim label schon lange. ciel, die mitbegründerin des labels, war schon in ihren anfängen als lokale promoterin/dj von adams psychedelischen und perkussiven dj-sets inspiriert und fand in jemandem, der ähnlich vielfältige musikalische interessen teilte, einen verwandten geist.
