vinyl only - limited to 200. after a short hiatus, blossom kollektiv returns with a brand new limited edition vinyl release. this time around industry veteran, matthias vogt, presents his voyeur ep. no stranger to the label, his latest features three deep and melodic cuts with one remix of the title track from tanzlife v id ensemble. starting things out with “voyeur,” we move into beautiful soundscapes that truly tell a story though its lush melodies, while still packing enough punch to get the crowd going in the right moments of a set. followed by tanzlife v id ensemble’s interpretation, they bring a more traditional deep house version replacing the lush melodies with more club ready synth stabs and pads while reworking the composition for the peak moments in the club. now flipping over to the b-side we start with rubin a track full of sunny time vibes. this is the type of track that you’d love to play during the cold and dark months to bring a little temporary sunshine without it actually being sunny. rich deep pads are paired here with uplifting synths and a classic deep house arrangement to bring bright vibes anytime of the year. finally finishing things off with the comeback, we get something a little different with its tribal percussion and once again feel good vibes but the standout here is mathias’s display as a classically trained pianist, which he displays wonderfully throughout the track. one thing that is clear through his years of music composing experience in electronic music and beyond is you can expect finely crafted works of art that work both on the dance floor and as tools to spark your imagination.

iron curtis has felt like a polytone artist for quite a while now. he recently delivered a breathtaking remix for matthias vogt, and shared a split ep with the man himself, terrence dixon. hes also played several label nights, but indeed unwind is his first very own ep on polytone. the opening track riders is our floor filler here. a subsonic bass experience of the more intensive kind. its a pure groover, with a surprisingly long lasting breakdown that never lacks on intensity. cream on the a2 is a stellar ambient joint, with rhythmic elements and cosmic pads. on the flip we have the title track, unwind, with an unconventional basic groove, bleepy touches and trademark 707 drum machine sounds. pure and stunning deepness. the final track is a remix from force/emerge and leads unwind into techno territory. polytone stands for diversity, and again demonstrates the labels vision of versatility here.

after a small hiatus matthias vogt and c-rock finally got back together in the studio to present another motorcitysoul masterpiece and convincing follow-up to last years carry on single. the song features conspicuous vocals by the drumming singer-songwriter phil fill making it an eager and exhilarating confession to the playground love. the remixes of lithuanian standout producer mario basanov contribute pure dancefloor magic. while the vocal remake offers a sentimental 80s disco feast, the remix version is riding his distinctive vilnius deep house vibe. a promising foretaste to basanovs upcopming full length album journey.

this is the last teaser before the release of the kruse & nuernberg album >lets call it a day<, featuring, yet again, the beautiful vocals of stee downes. on remix duties, we have lazy days regular shur-i-kan with two completely different flavors. his 80s vocal mix is a beautiful update of the original, speeding up the tempo for peak time play, while his 90s dub is a straight up stripped down classic house re-work. first time on the label, we welcome nathan g with another fine remix that can be played at just about any time of the night. lastly, we have the original in all its beauty, at its slower original tempo.

after touching the sky with the first 12 inch, the fiakun boys come back to load a second reference signed by robin masters orchestra. oliver marquardt in collaboration with desney bailey bring us to a classic house tune, full of nuances and romance >dance with the moon< is completed with two high level remixes. sasse, on the one hand, reinterpret the original with a lighter mixture that brings us to a more organic scene. on the other hand, matthias vogt, draws us with a more mixed present, leaving aside his musical education to give us a very very tasty remix for hot nights
