the make up the break up is the first release on bruno pronsatos own thesongsays label. its the longest track in his catalog (38 minutes), and an even deeper excursion into his stylized harmony. this track was originally a track uncompleted while making, æwhy cant we be like us. revisiting it roughly a year ago, bruno began to reword it. what began as simple attempt to create an ep track out of it became a monster. what monster you ask? in a few words, the monster that is brunos love of musicality and sound design. muscially speaking, we are on a ride somewhere between a slithery house track and a drugged out night out in chelsea, new york in the 60s - and thats a good thing because we get the entirety of the ride: the ups, the downs, the clouded mentality, the broken heart and perhaps the mended one. its happy, its sad - its something that you can dance to, but most importantly, its music that we think you can revisit for many years, as it somehow reflects us, our lives. a playful and extended journey through love and disaster, or at least the soundtrack to it.

barcelonas marc piñol and clip! add some extra oomph to two of the songs taken from pajaro sunrise equally brilliant and hard-to-pronnounce kulturkatzenjammer album.
one of the key tracks on pajaro sunrise latest studio album kulturkatzenjammer, the happy-sad *long forgotten flowers*, gets a hypnotic house treatment from hivern veteran marc piñol. the melancholy disappears to make way for a more hedonistic sound, more than doubling the songs length in the process.
more dance floor action comes from up and coming rbma alumnus clip!, who reshapes the introverted *good to see you* into a straight-up piano house monster.
as if that werent enough, these fine remixes are accompanied by the rather eerie non-album track *guess things happen that way*, a cover of the cowboy jack clement-penned 1958 johnny cash hit. yuri méndez, jr. at his darkest.

for the first release of 2012, old friends of lazy days, lawnchair generals make a rare appearance on the label with their new single >dont stop<. the duo made of peter christianson and carlos mendoza were featured separately on the feel ep last year. this song was written for their exclusive live performance at the decibel festival in seattle last year. this classic lcg tracks also comes with a superb dub for the late nights.
rob mello was an easy choice for the remix as we have been long time friends and fans of his. he took the track apart and gave us his unique no ears approach to the remix, a twisted deep afterhours biz. we hope you enjoy the release.
