first terrace return with the second instalment of their split series, an ongoing project which sees the work of two artists illuminated in each others light. built on the acknowledgement that context alters perception, the light shone by the opposing track alters the shadow cast, the effect of the other. in answer to the forked road presented by fts001, we chose the quiet path

following on from the release of fba21 collected works 1996 -2017, which was released november 2017 matthew puffett decided to wrap up the project, with a handpicked selection of artists to remix key tracks from the compilation. amongst these figures are some significant influences on puffett s early years the set includes kirk degiorgio, whose reworking of �cross dissolve� reimagines the track in full machine mode, serving up a slab of driving techno for the main room.

label friend jules heffner is doing his debut on terrace trips. -swamp- kicks off with some jungle sounds and a deep dotted bass line. guy from downstairs (gfd, robsoul) serves a smooth remix with a rolling morphing bass line and some crisp percussion hints. on the b-side -wharf- is with his flurry synths more like a fata morgana tearing you in some wet fantasies. a remix of this one is coming from anatol who just uses some synths from the original and a simple 303 bass line which turns the track in a more minimalistic direction you better use nobite on this one.

first terrace records is honoured to present the beacon sound choir singing sunday songs - a project conceived by peter broderick and brought to life through collaborations with a number of portland-based individuals including david allred, holland andrews (like a villain), branic howard and heather woods broderick.
beacon sound choir is one of broderick�s most ambitious and avant-garde projects to date. utilising the harmonies of a 35 strong choir, sunday songs plays out with an almost religious undercurrent, the product of individuals inspired to commit a divine act of collaboration, recalling the rare splendour of a community in seamless alliance.

terrace trips is presenting their first release by anatol. terrace is a minimalistic positive house cut with some trippy synths which lets you fade away. james dexter (inermu/poker flat) comes up with a percussive and intelligent remix which always brings the crowd forward with his multiple kicks. samu rodriguez (serkal), moves the track in a more technoid direction and changes the mood to a darker atmosphere.
