captain derek carr joins into the deep forces through its third intergalactic journey. the gifted man is well known for his unrivalled sound incursions in the early 00 s. in command of the expedition, derek unveils a classy 4 titles ep blending his detroit-influenced trademark sounds, lush synths, electro syndrome & droning basslines. it results in a futuristic journey by convoying us to a rave somewhere on mars before the dawn.

irish producer leonid is welcomed on board of the itdr spaceship for their second installment. after putting out impressive releases on sistrum and dolly (to name a few), paul smith comes up with a stellar 4 tracks ep cut for clubs dancefloors. landing deep in planet x analogic territories, you will find leonid distinctive acid grooves fused in heavy basslines with amazing percussion work for a mystic journey across nibiru s galaxy.

the first release on the newly formed into the deep label (formally confluence records) is an abstract 4 track ep from spanish electronic artist jose rico. combining downtempo and dubby styles with more dynamic sounds this ep is a merging of abstract territories that lie somewhere between ambient and house.

this is already our seventh deep love compilation and we dare to say our most complete yet in sound and flow. the ten pieces on this sampler blend in perfectly with that laid back late summer mood. we are very pleased to welcome yet again some new acts to dirt crew with the likes of jaxx madicine, ouer, times are ruff and s3a. we cross many borders not only in genres but also country wise. from the heavy disco sampled jam by french producer s3a to the jazz and funk laden epos of the italian 3 piece jaxx madicine over to the dutch deep house boys times are ruff who are well known from their, same named, label and finally to the berlin duo ouer who also run an own label and released with our good friends at heist recordings, delivering an ecstatic electronic floating tune here. this is all completed by some excellence from long time dirt crew artists. 25 places have been with us for many years now and their two eps have gotten so much love from the deeper deep house community. here they drop an epic almost idm techno like tune that closes this great album in the best possible way. our icelandic stall wart felix leifur drops a heavy hitter named buster. after his recent bobby donny ep earlier this year we are thrilled to have him back on dirt crew! harry wolfman and ponty mython need no introduction really, they are adding electro/ disco/ electronica fuelled cuts that form a great middle part to this mix of tunes. harry going in very smooth and relaxed, something else than his usual house workout which we really loved to present to you

informa experiments volume 2 continues with the same concept as the last, 4 artists submit a bank of sounds and from these sounds each artist composes a track. a simple idea that proves very effective. this time the contributors are claudio prc (prologue), takaaki itoh (wols), ben gibson (chronicle) & deepbass (informa) each version has come out very different but all have a beautifully analogous feel. deep, pulsing hypnotic techno. the release will be available on 12 inch only.

it might not always be obvious, but music as escapism can serve as a radical social statement. what some may see as daydreaming or imagination of impossible realities, can constitute a sort of revolution of thought, the seed of a more human and sentient worldview. although on a first listen, high-level basis, it may seem as if the music contained in informa�s 10th release is a series of psychedelic, dystopian and otherworldly tools for escape, it might actually be a proposition for improvement, a route to self-discovery, a reflection on the true nature of our surroundings. although at no point in this release such high concepts are made explicit, there is a consistency in vision and methods present in the art created by the peers that label founder and owner deepbass has selected for this very special, celebratory release. encapsulating the product of eight minds, eight visions, in a common concept for evolution in unity.
