an artist as versatile as alex krüger is a rare find these days, not only did he release numerous eps and albums as tigerskin or korsakow since the mid 90s, hes also been on the forefront of the dub techno movement since 1999 with outings on classic labels such as raum…musik, force tracks and 3b/ united states of mars. now ten years after his last album on opossum recordings alex is back with this well crafted genre bending full length caves & cages. from deep techno cuts through rippling ambient excursions to funky reggae infused live jams with haushausen this work is yet another milestone in the creative bubble alex lives in (i.e. his studio)

were super excited to present the latest artist to join the dirt crew stable, french producer sekou babe. he ticked all the right boxes for us with this beautiful debut ep foresight prevents blindness which explores his fresh and vibey outlook on house with sideways glances to smokey jazz, breaks and garage. the a-side lines up three varied tunes. perspectives of the youth and soukoun step in quickly with lively breakbeat rhythms. the first boasting warm soul vocals and steady bass groove, the second a melancholic yet uplifting back and forth between vintage piano and warbling rhodes. treize zero zero trois is a deep and dreamy house jam. cinematic elements infused with punchy percussion and 80s sonic touches add up to good times all round. on the b, our good friend nachtbraker does what he does best, flipping treize zero zero trois bringing the deep, dubby amsterdam vibrations. his version is lush, textural and slightly fruity, with surging synths, tropical percussion and a stomping kick. sekou babe rounds things off with the extravagant crown collection, showing us yet another colour in his musical spectrum. its trip hop meets detroit where warped strings introduce shuffling drums before the track begins to build layering subtle arpeggios, smooth pads, crash hits and a buoyant melody. sekou babe would like to add that all tracks were written and produced by b.b. at 7e republique studio and says thanks to peter, ghizlene, mohammed and florian, you beautiful souls.

sheffields thatmanmonkz is quite the sonic force to be reckoned with. with an impressive discography across the board, dropping his most recent album columbusing on delusions of grandeur in 2016 and running his own successful imprint shadeleaf, were very happy to welcome him to dirt crew and present his latest ep shade throw. kicking things off rough and ready in true detroit “hight tech jazz style,manna for poppa is a saxed up dance floor bomb ready for the taking. intrinsic divine, a sonically soaring breakbeat outing lightens the mood a little, think classic trip hop meets modern deep house. the cinematic string arrangement is accompanied by freestyle piano and licks of ad-libbed sax over a steady kitspace jam 2017 sees thatmanmonkz team up with new york citys clyde phalanx to create a pure psyched up space house outing. we can picture this one over a sun-drenched balearic scenery or deep in a dark and smokey basement somewhere. jazzy freestyle drums underpin a live guitar improvisation that gets truly nasty on this interplanetary journey. slow and sexy is the tempo for the closing track. evolver is a soulful disco burner reminiscent of idjut boys, grooving along with smooth rnb vocals and salacious keys while intoxicating strings lift the energy to pure cosmic goodness.

nachtbraker is back! its been a huge year for the amsterdam deep house juggernaut who returns to dirt crew with his all new and colorfully titled really ties the room together ep. constantly on the move, hes found time between touring throughout europe, asia and south america to continue to push his a-typical house sound forward with this years heist release and his quirky jam busy bee that was featured on our deep love 100 compilation. this three tracker is jam packed with bouncing club tunes and a whole lot of flange. things kick off with the title track really ties the room together. it twists and turns over an unconventional but irresistible groove, shimmying shakers, brass stabs and a serpentine riff work together creating a super tight dance floor cut. rew begins somewhere in deeper territory, suspense building beneath the clouds, a rumbling bass rolls in from over the horizon before a glorious funk guitar blows the whole thing wide open, letting the suns rays burst through and that familiar nachtbraker good time energy shine in. the rerub of rew is something altogether new from our deep house protagonist, a break beat and casual groove guide gently towards an ever intensifying acid trip. dont be fooled by the lovely deep chords, things get nasty in the end. its best to expect the unexpected from our adventurous resident producer, and this ep is no exception.

our latest looking for mushrooms ep comes to us from a collaboration between long time dirt crew resident tigerskin and gifted jazz pianist and composer grambow. we first heard from grambow when his fluid key stylings featured on tigerskins faint in 2015. the title track is a suspenseful and moody journey, lead by live double bass from feature artist das eb. building in intensity with tigerskins warm production and steady percussive instrumentation until grambows live lead on a gritty synth growls in over the top. a true modern electronic classic as far as we are concernred. tsukiji is a playful deep house groover. balmy tuned percussion and shaken highs roll along under the light hearted piano which cruises along throughout the whole tropically touched endeavour. this track has party written all over it! octocat is a tougher italo disco tainted work out, tightly programmed live and analogue percussive elements push along, while wailing keys lick over a tenacious grunting bass. you can really taste and feel the long studio sessions the guys had to compose this great track. it is so much more than generic dance music. red fox is a divine culmination of the pairs compositional prowess and dance music knowhow. a cinematic and spirited house track that glides and glistens via delicate piano, plucky percussive riffs, bright strings and woodwinds. we are very honoured to release this outstanding musical release by tigerskin and grambow.

its a great pleasure to welcome back waze & odyssey to the label, since their first please dont dance ep on dirt crew wich was released in early 2013 and that featured an excellent detroit swindl remix botht duos have had a massive rise and impact on the underground house scene worldwide. waze & odyssey have also had killer releases on their own imprint w&o street tracks and with their latest on the downlow single they stormed the dancefloors and major radio playlists. waze & odyssey is best know for their straight up bangin’ house cutz and with these two tracks you get exactly that! go go go is a filterred house banger that takes us back to the early chicago and french house productions from the mid 90s. on the other side of this fine 10 the deeper and more electrofied we go home delivers some nasty breakdowns and with its manic pitched and ascending lead sound it should shake and stir your brain to get your feet moving for sure. pure dance floor action with these two new waze & odyssey tracks!

this is already our seventh deep love compilation and we dare to say our most complete yet in sound and flow. the ten pieces on this sampler blend in perfectly with that laid back late summer mood. we are very pleased to welcome yet again some new acts to dirt crew with the likes of jaxx madicine, ouer, times are ruff and s3a. we cross many borders not only in genres but also country wise. from the heavy disco sampled jam by french producer s3a to the jazz and funk laden epos of the italian 3 piece jaxx madicine over to the dutch deep house boys times are ruff who are well known from their, same named, label and finally to the berlin duo ouer who also run an own label and released with our good friends at heist recordings, delivering an ecstatic electronic floating tune here. this is all completed by some excellence from long time dirt crew artists. 25 places have been with us for many years now and their two eps have gotten so much love from the deeper deep house community. here they drop an epic almost idm techno like tune that closes this great album in the best possible way. our icelandic stall wart felix leifur drops a heavy hitter named buster. after his recent bobby donny ep earlier this year we are thrilled to have him back on dirt crew! harry wolfman and ponty mython need no introduction really, they are adding electro/ disco/ electronica fuelled cuts that form a great middle part to this mix of tunes. harry going in very smooth and relaxed, something else than his usual house workout which we really loved to present to you

we present you the third release in our very successful collaboration series with roar groove and the revenge. straight after his new brilliant album when the thrill comes that was release in may this year graeme clark is back on dirt crew with four new gems. the opening, funky and twisting, times get tough is a deep rolling down tempo disco/ house stomper that builds into this ecstatic groove we got to love so much from his previous outings. pure good times and hands in the air action promised on this one! subconcious is that darker and meaner side of house track with a slammin chicago beat he delivers this old school jackin feel. big bass lines and soulful vocal samples tied together by on the fly drum patterns. the b-side of this new ep opens with an hypnotic jam that builds and builds till those sweet synths start soaring in. all carried by this ultra phat bass line, we can only imagine how this one will sound on a massive sound system! searchlight is def a highlight of this release. can we go even deeper and darker? oh yes! with come down we get a proper come down to close this ep. deep sub basses with floating tops and again that classic jack house beat. certainly a late night track made for those sweaty and long dj sets. summer is here and the revenge has the perfect soundtrack for hot and steamy nights, inside or on the open field!

we got to know dan only, an exciting emerging artist from the toronto underground, when he collaborated with jesse futerman on our recent deep love 2017? compilation. his debut record, released on adam marshalls new kanada imprint, introduced his deep instinct for electronic music and unique, boundless approach to deep house. an avid collector of old school gear you can hear the analogue warmth throughout this intricately detailed yet heavy hitting four-tracker. its clear opens. a solid house jam, its thumping drums and resonating melodies follow a steady bass groove ready to heat up the dance floor. be major…believe leads in more gently before warbling key lines and synth details layer over gritty percussion pushing the mood closer and closer to bursting. this one conjures images of summer nights and distant coast lines. on the b, simmering vocals and tropical rhythms dance amongst straight forward house energies on dont you understand. rich with subtleties, its somehow smooth while seriously impactful. finally we have truffles. a very modern twist on disco vs house its an original italo infused gem with an edit feel, that maintains the vibe of an 80s era hedonistic night throughout. perfect as a peak time mood elevator or blissful, hands-in-the-air closing record. were convinced dan onlys future is bright and are overwhelmed by the quality and musicality of this, his first solo ep on dirt crew recordings.

never one to rest, our pal the revenge has been busy as always. his latest lp as 6th borough project find your rhythm recently dropped on roar groove, he created a beautifully delicate remix of auntie flos waiting for a (woman), had a change of scenery relocating from scotland to denmark and his collab ep with dirt crew, flush with nachtbraker remixes was one of our biggest records of 2016! amongst the action he’s taken the time and a more in yer face approach to write us his latest ep, a four-tracker of proper club tracks. every night brims with raucous disco energy. the french filter house reminiscent gems strings shimmer and funk horns hit heavy, a jam destined to wear holes in shoes. grit attends to the easy-going disco grooves we love so much from the revenge, plenty of shake and soul its overflowing with good-mood energy. b-side opener never learn gives us a glimpse of the darker end of the revenge’s spectrum. subby toms rumble, tweaked out synths bleep and slide and delayed key stabs shift the party into smoke hazed, underground rave mode. the closing track krokodille brings that bass n electro gritty booming sound! the acidic lead wraps around sturdy drums. straight forward with plenty of kick, what an ending to a high quality ep!

were happy to welcome back harry wolfman for a full record after his fine collaborative square lane ep with loz goddard last year. here he delves into the leftfield side of house, this dreamy 5-tracker. torontos jesse futerman joins us for the remix fresh from his debut releases on church and omena.fermi brings the tropically tinged deep house heat, wavering pads and buoyant bass paint us a mirage of sweltering summer days ahead. ice thin starts as a melancholic mover, it steadily builds through dusty samples, shaken percussion and smokey moods elevating the energy into something euphoric. things get gritty as we flip to the b-side. downstream is a dark and grainy outing, edgy arps work in and out of tough drums and frenzied synths. jesses superb rework of ice thin features distant horns and vocals that ring out over a warbling rhodes and rumbling bass, then comes the lick of a slide guitar reminiscent of some kind of twisted western. wrapping up this beautiful and somewhat nostalgic journey we turn to outro version a funk laden work out. rich strings and woodwinds fill out the lush landscape that swells and soars across the steady, bottom heavy, dance inducing

new kid felix leifur made quiet a stir with his debut release on dirt crew last year. the icelandic juggernaut comes from the striving reykjavik music scene and is working closely with the lagaffe tales guys on building a new northern house empire. since his debut hes been working hard on creating a more varied vision of his unique lo slung hip hop approach to house music. with this ep he offers six new outings that have one thing in common, very warm and moody sounds ranging from disco through jazz and hip hop. were certain that he will continue to further cement his name in the coming years and were looking forward to working with him on plenty of exciting projects. opening with eyelids, felix delivers a rough, deep and dark house cut with broken beats, warped piano loops and twisted sampling throughout. classy has a smoky jazz feeling, kept tight with clever beat programming while evolving around a catchy sax motif. our personal fav is the title track, in general, a stunning broken beat house jam, smooth and loose, with swirling keys and a funk flavoured bass. the b-side begins with midwinter, a dance floor gem on a straight up junket. its deep, forward moving and bass driven, much like his track feels like that featured on our deep love compilation in 2016. yet another highlight for us is apollo, theres not many records out there that sound quite like this, thoroughly warped and contorted, depraved strings and a hypnotising rhodes arc and strain until the bass drops and it all falls in place psychedelic beauty! he closes with mine, a dope lo fi hip hop beat that casually wraps our ears, an ice cold soul infused piece.

st. petersburg resident kito jempere is back on dirt crew with his first full release after his debut album on fata morgana and a great ep on freerange last year. following his great contribution to our deep love series we now welcome him with these two unique tracks. ranging from house to disco and jazz influences, kito found his very own style and switches easily between them. up tempo and energetic tracks with great melodies, driving bass lines and clever sample use.

dirt crew recordings turns 5 in november, to celebrate this we bring you an exclusive compilation with lots of new acts and fresh material from our main artists on the label. there will also be 2 vinyls accompaning this digital compilation, the first will be released at the same time and contains tracks by dirt crew, tigerskin and geiger, the second one will come out early december with 4 other exclusive tracks from till von sein, yosa, tigerskin and dekay & elie eidelman that are not featured on the main compilation. as we are always on the lookout for new talent at dirt crew we are very happy to have 8 new artist on this album, yosa from tokyo, geiger, sierra sam, dekay, elie eidelman and jay shepheard from berlin, pele from the south of germany and dominus from barcelona. they will all do full releases next year and make sure that our label keeps on bringing the deep sounds to your dancefloors. of course we also have fresh bombs from our main men the runners, dirt crew, mic newman, tigerskin and till von sein on this great compilation.

next month we celebrate our 5th anniversary here at dirt crew and we are very pleased to have marc romboy - whos systematic imprint also turned 5 this year - team up with smokin jo to deliver this marvellous two tracker. >what is this?< is a strong tech-house gem, slowly building, pumping groove and with a great sax sample. very recognisable and been doing a really good job on the dancefloors in our sets over the last few months. solid stuff ! as a b-side there is a much deeper and musically more diverse lee jones remix, lee has been one of our favourite producers in the last years with his solo work on labels like aus, liebe * detail and especially his my my project on playhouse, we are very pleased to have him on our label for the very first time with this excellent re-interpretation of >what is this?<

its time to join forces for till von sein and tigerskin and blend their unique styles to hit the dancefloors hard once again. being good buddies and hanging out a lot together in tigerskins berlin studio for the past years it was more than overdue for them to produce some exciting tracks together. out came a splendid ep with a great variety of styles and moods

second installment from our man down under mic newman, with his follow up single on dirt crew mic proves once again what a great and diverse producer he his. after his first digital only release on our label that was more on the techie side he drops some quality tech and deep house on this one. backed up with our new berlin house star till von sein and germanys hottest remixers afrilounge this ep is bound to set off ! we also present you a very nice remix from his homie lewie day who also made a great groovey remix of the aries ... more quality house music from dirt crew!

varoslav from paris is up next on dirt crew with his i love us , an exciting new dj/production talent the label is very happy to be friends with. this ep sees varoslav team up with paris-based trio and long time friends dop (circus company) who all of you may well know from their current live crazyness and deep jams in the clubs out there … varoslav is a new talent rising amongst the parisian new house scene! playing in his groovy, sexy and energetic style sliding from tech to deep house is apparent in his releases also. when he isnt working on his own music he is found at supplement facts working along side guy gerber, another great label where varoslav released his first records. recently varoslav has a huge bomb out there with his >dont stop< bootleg that is being caned by people like ricardo villalobos and ellen allien … this ep has a little bit of everything for the house, tech house and even breakz lovers. with two very nice remixes full of variety from varoslavs friend david k (freak n chic, cocoon). his smashing breakz remix is a sure destroyer, with its phat beats and pumping bass line it is one of his most outstanding tracks ever. with the vinyl featured house mix david goes deep into the house groove and gives you his typical epic deep house flow.

the runners are a new project by our man lukas who has been with dirt crew and players paradise from the beginning and his buddy kevin cook. both young and very talented producers who teamed up to drop some delicious deep house on the next dirt crew release. kevin just made the move to ibiza while bristol based lukas is very succesful in running his buoyancy parties over there. with >hot fun< and >woman pleaser< coming in two different deep mixes this ep is one for the house lovers, taking dirt crew more and more towards the soulfull and groovy path of the new house movement. to top things off we asked another rising star in the scene and one of our favourite producers at this moment jay shepheard (compost, diynamic, drumpoet community) who recently made the move from london to berlin. he delivers a great remix with a deep sub bass and a lush chord filled groove… you will love it

its time again for tigerskin here at dirt crew ! alexander krüger proves once again to be on top of business. he delivers 3 new cuts from his analogue organic domain studio that are truly heavenly. from house to deep techno and trance, you can find every style in his unique blend of dance music. he is also currently collaborating with our other deep house soldier till von sein on tracks for their new project which will be released later this year on dirt crew. alex is in full effect and you can hear that in these marvellous tracks. nuff said ! enjoy !

up and coming berlin based till von sein presents his first full release on dirt crew. with records out on trenton, channels, morris audio and his marvellous remixes on moodmusic and for our last tigerskin record he proved to be a new face in the deep house scene that is bound to take over. tills productions are very melodic and gather a lot of influence from jazz to funk and disco, all this combined with a strong tech house groove makes his tracks true dancefloor burners. to give his debut an extra boost we asked his mates catz n dogz ( aka 3 channels ) to deliver a bomb of a remix ! they are currently one of the hottest acts around and recently released a great album on mothership, not to mention their hit remix on boxer last year. these guys proved once more that they can do awesome remixes and their version of ovas is nothing less but brilliant ! it will tear the club apart!

these new remixes of soundwave are a special deep journey into the history of house music ! first up is >man of the deep moments< quarion (drumpoet community ) who delivers a dark and spacious reinterpretation of the original that recalls a lot of great memories of early 90s house tracks by the likes of chez damier, moodyman and basic channel. the second remix is by our good friend filippo >naughty< moscatello who was a big fan of the original track and insisted on making a remix for us, of which we were of course very honored by. you know mr. naughty from his great hits back in da days on gigolo and his production on dj hells album >munich machine< and the hit single >copa< also his >disco volante< album on the same label is a true classic ! filippo is about to make his comeback in 2009 on moodmusic with a new album ... house music in full effect

dirt crew presents their first mix cd and label compilation cd >collection 02<. it is a continous dj mix by the boys which will feature some hot and new unreleased tracks and remixes by artists like afrilounge, gregor tresher, sasse, till von sein and tigerskin as well as some of last years highlights that were released on their label. there will also be an exclusive digital part to this label compilation which features only new tracks by break 3000, james flavour, lukas and others… be prepared for a strong mix of minimal and tech-house with the one and only dirt crew sound that got them a strong reputation all over this world.

support comes from hosh, karotte, dave dk, tom clark, jamie jones, sasse and many more.. it’s been a while since james flavour released his last full artist single ! after numerous releases for labels like highgrade, brique rouge and other remix dutys on his own labels plus the work on dirt crew’s last album the bavarian native, residing in berlin for 14 years now, really took his time to bring you these three full on club tracks. taking a different approach to his sound we know from his last two singles on dirt crew recordings, the idea was to create a more reduced minimal groove with dubby influences as they can only be delivered from berlin city.

alex krueger is ready for his next strike on dirt crew rec. the follow up to his excellent <push the patton< single is an absolute minimal killer, 3 quality tracks here and a different side of tigerskin for each taste. all tracks were produced with analogue equipment only which has become pretty rare these days ! the title track is a warm and reduced builder with an absolutely devestating guitar breakdown, people will remember this one for sure when they first hear it out on a big system. the second >wanted< is a typical tigerskin rave anthem, similar to his master hit >neontrance< this one is pure power on the dancefloor. the last track is more funky and has a great electro groove to it, this one has become a favourite in our sets over the last weeks and also features a beautiful break with great analogue sounds

supported by tom clark, sasse, 2000 and one, woody, paolo martini, 3 channels, adultnapper, dj naughty, garnier and many more.. mindforce is an extra special release we have put together for you. it features an excellent remix by kabale und liebe who is currently causing a big stir amongst the house community with his deep and dark minimal groovers, needless to mention his big hit mumbling yeah that was in the charts of almost every dj and became one of the key tracks last year. also his upcoming productions on the dutch remote area label are amongst our favourite tracks so we couldn’t resist to ask this guy to do an interpretation of a special track we made. mindforce is a bit different to the rest of the dirt crew output, we wanted to make a more reduced grooving dj tool that is still old school but on the other hand contains an hypnotic feel that is more likely to be found in current minimal productions

after a long break due to the work on the new dirt crew album and numerous remixes in the past 2 years break 3000 is back solo with his typical deep trance techno sound we know from his great releases on my best friend and trapez. this 10 minute plus monster is a dark and pumping excursion into the heart of techno. with a massive beat and a hard hitting piano stab the track winds itself through any soundsystem and when the old school 90s strings fall in you can be assured that the crowd goes crazy… on the flip daso proves his skills with an even tighter techno mix of the original. with his latest work for spectral and connaisseur he is on the top of the game and we are very proud to have him on board with this excellent remix, its amongst his best productions to date! loved by dave mothersole, c rock, p toile, sasse, nunos dos santos and many more..

the last remix single from the >raw< album features some really nice and tasty mixes of boogie down that vary from deep and dark minimal techno to exstatic tech-house. first up are chopstick & johnjon who both are up and coming artist that most of you might know from their label criminal records and the collaborations of chopstick as eyerer and chopstick on great stuff recordings. their mix of boogie down is a real trancey one with a great bassline added to the original feel of the track. second man in line is substatics falko brocksieper who delivers a very powerful minimal techno joint with great effects and pitched down vocals, this is a true dark roller ! also our friends from montreal canada >les bouchers< better known as dj shine and poontz made a cool electro house cut and complete this fine release in style
