this ridiculously soulful summer-house ep is the first installment by peter on big bait since 2015. we baked the essence of 3 years of studio work on 12&#8243, vinyl. amongst two brilliant solo tracks, peter brought in two coops with some exclitingly interesting producers: -arpeggio funk- is the first co-production by the columbian shooting star felipe gordon with big bait label boss peter clamat. the guys met up on soundcloud and immediately started working out some tunes together. -she hates getting photos- and -tanzflächengebet- are solo productions by mr. clamat. outstanding, colorful, perfect work as usual. last but not least track no. four is the uplifting, 90 s flavored remix of an unpublished clamat-gem by ugly drums and chesney. the two guys are old-stagers of the german house culture and well known for their releases on kalakutta soul, ava, quintessentials etc.

the extraordinary prolongation of sound jerked polly’s pretty head away from her work at the calibration machine. today’s jobs had seen her at her thorough and meticulous best but as afternoon melted easily into evening, these latest reverberations meant she’d no longer be able to focus to the level required. her boss had just dropped the bomb. as her ear drums filtered the noise, the technician’s bright mind was flooded with delight, her eyes no longer felt dry and tight with concentration, she was caught riding the crest of a massive wave of admiration. sitting her specs on the desk and pushing herself off the comfortable heat of her work stool, miss filla let the soundwaves pull her to her feet and carry her off to the main source of the captivating music. in honour of dixon avenue basement jams spending four years at the forefront of the global electronic music scene a new release was planned to shake the foundation to the very core. techno wizard big miz had been charged with delivering the goods and by the gods, the glaswegian had cracked it! he’d created, not just new tunes, but a whole new fucking genre. polly could feel the vibrations pulsating through every part of her curvaceous body as she sashayed along to the seductive beat.

once again, the sunkissed camp get it spot on with this loud-pressed 12 inch collection of balearic classics from brazilian songstress astrud gilberto. opens with the original version of mesmerising dancer *black magic*, a great dj weapon that got the tangoterje edit seal of approval a few years back. followed by balearic favourite *beginnings*, a jazzy take on chicago s classic hit which spins out into eight minutes of sensual bliss. turn over for big daniel wang play, the obscure lp track *all i ve got*, a glorious low-slung floor-filling gem produced by none other than salsoul orchestra founder vince montana who also supplies the sublime disco version of the song that made astrud a household name *the girl from ipanema*. lastly comes her cool and breezy version of the bossanova jazz standard *agua de beber*. beautiful stuff.

mr bratley drops 2 slo-house workouts on his foto debut. this sound is big and brash with insistent stabs and filter sweeps over the top of some thumping pitch-down house beats. on the flip things get even heavier with get up, a dark, pulsating beast which ups the jack factor whilst maintaining a slow tempo. to round things off label boss ooft! pulls this sound into solid deep house territory with a smoother mix which still contains some serious bottom-end.

the berlin-based techno and house producer and dj oliver koletzki has fully committed himself to his roots for this album. they can be traced back to pop music of the 80ies and 90ies, while his productions still manage to transport the fresh energy of today’s electronic music productions. großstadtmärchen is a perfect example for a producers album: oliver koletzki has created a musically compact long player while working together with many different singers. both established artists like mieze katz from the german electro-pop outfit mia., the hot german pop-rock-singer axel bosse, critically acclaimed indie band kate mosh as well as newcomers such as fran, pyur and juli holz have contributed to the album. the result are ten songs that easily fluctuate between catchy pop tracks, modern house grooves and 80ies synthesizer pop yet still maintaining a very own koletzkieske sound dynamic. großstadtmärchen, which translates as the tale of the big city starts off with this is leisure. famous pop singer mieze katz has put down her sexy voice on a guitar-based song pattern that functions as an ideal introduction into the craziness of the big city tales. after hearing this, the listener is directly fully drawn into this world when hearing juli holzs softly whispering voice singing about the dilemmas of love in the big city on zuckerwatte (single release date: 7.9.09). this is a very fine electro-pop tune. coming up next oliver koletzki and axel bosse board an underground train that takes them around the berlin u-bahn system and back.

nice price deal !!! the ninth release on viennas meat recordings sees another ep by the label boss gerald vdh. >otto wagner green< marks the next big step forward in the artists career, as he explores his roots in bass music and neurofunk, while still maintaining the spirit of techno music in every piece included on the four tracker. the a-side features >creature of habit<, a stepping techno tune with drum&bass references and a remix by matt mor. on the flipside gerald pushes the limits even further. the title track >otto wagner green< is a melodic and breakbeaty declaration of love for his hometown vienna. the ep closes with bassy and trippy >against the current<. upon listening to his new release one has to say, that gerald vdh has definitely found his unique sound and his niche in electronic music.

seth troxlers club focussed label, play it say it, welcomes a master of stripped back and dubbed out tech grooves in the form of seb zito, while fuse boss enzo siragusa steps up to remix. a core part of the world-renowned fuse party crew, zitos distilled productions are perfectly functional, boasting the sorts of subtle charms that make them truly irresistible to legions of dancers. his warm sound has landed on the fuse and infuse labels as well as rawax and kaoz theory. he runs his own seven dials label and is as revered for his resident sets in london and ibiza as he is his studio sounds. the excellent on it opens things up with tightly coiled drums, adorned with bumping kicks that immediately get you moving. a soul infused vocal brings plenty of cool to the track whilst dreamy pads add warmth and depth. a dub is also included in the package for those darker, late night sets. both versions are sure to become club mainstays. remixing is enzo siragusa, the man behind the internationally renowned fuse brand and a driving force in the contemporary house and techno scene. he djs around the world, hosts parties across europe and is known for digging deep. his version is more zoned out thanks to the swirling pads, with the orignals vocal coming at you in a dreamlike fashion, as the knotted bass hammers home the groove. this is an essential release that is sure to go on to big things this summer.

after being one of the many standouts on the we are opilec…! vol. iii compilation back in 2016, i-robots glamouflage is now getting a full vinyl release with artwork by tomozo kevorkian, who was designer for nyc s body & soul, and remixes by a standout team of producers from japan to switzerland to south africa and the usa. opening up the ep is a fantastic new take ii version from label boss i-robots, who added exclusive chinese vocal samples recorded on the streets of huang jiang city many years ago. the track is inspired by ennio morricone and supermax and is a loose and infectious groove with brilliant drums and percussion and an elastic bassline that really gets you moving. it s a subtle update to the original—also included here as a bonus cut—which itself is a steamy and tropical sounding groove. swiss electronic pioneer schaltkreis wassermann then features on a version of the original that reaches for the cosmos with its rugged bass riffs, tumbling toms and busy, ever evolving groove. it has a big breakdown with exotic synths wandering through the night and oodles of effects and big guitar licks. the first of the remixes comes from kuniyuki takahashi who has been a big supporter of i-robots since 2000. he is a sound designer from japan who had a compilation of his works put out by music from memory back in february. his version is laden with cosmic synths and chants, grunting and organic drums and is sure to be massive this summer thanks to its open air vibes. detroit s underrated but vital gary martin is the boss of the teknotika label and his version featuring colten decker playing an unusual sax line shows another side to the motor city. it s a curious and mysterious tune that makes for an unsettling atmosphere that keeps you locked throughout as it snakes along.

hell yeah is back with more beach ready and boat party styled summer tunes, this time from riccio. this italian producer has long been making essential edits, off kilter grooves and soul kissed house sounds that demand to be played loud and these new ones are no different. described by the label boss as balearic big beat, this ep kicks off with afro chemy, a scorching seven minute tune that builds on a bed of fat drums. the scattered percussion is loose and organic and when the funky bass and colourful xylophone sounds comes in you can t help but cut loose. add in a sexy trumpet line and you have the sound of summer distilled into seven sensational minutes. funky cave will get any party started with its old school drum breaks and cymbal splashes sounding like the ocean when you plunge in on a hot day. busted bass lines add a certain fatness and cosmic keys and steamy guitar licks make this another perfect outdoor anthem. last of all is the blissed out heather, one to drop at sundown after a long day s dancing. the beats are warm and lumpy, the synths smear out to the horizon like gently breaking waves and soulful leads really get your heart swelling. proper.

senso sounds collects together two of the key tracks from bossman oliver huntemann’s new propaganda album for this 12 inch release. senso has established itself as a key label in the techno scene and huntemanns ear for quality remains as sharp as ever. rotlicht is a precision-honed instrument of techno weaponry - hard as nails and featuring epic and mind-bending breakdowns. additionally the egyptian dj and producer raxon reworks the track into a deep and solid groover with plenty of attitude. ‘poltergeist’ is a journey into huntemann’s feel for sound design and space in a club context, beguiling with its seeming simplicity, before hitting home with shifting, evolving grooves and haunting synth blasts. the young russian maksim dark adds his own interpretation of poltergeist to the release, edging up the darkness a little more and producing a growling, tough techno workout that will go over big on a lot of floors this year.

after the huge success of their first collaboration, doorly and el prevost are back for part two: this time the world touring doorly serves up a hot original that gets remixed by red rack‘em and el prevost, while el prevost also serves up an original of his own, all on his own no speakers label. the first ep, featuring a lee foss remix, got support form the likes of paco osuna, solomun and groove armada and this second instalment is set to be just as big this summer. doorly is a dance heavyweight who headlines clubs like space ibiza on his global travels, releases on cajual, hot creations and dirtybird and is no stranger to hitting high places in the charts with his big and infectious sounds. as a dj he is energetic and can make a mark on any dance floor, and so will this new tune, ’sonder.’ it is six superbly deep and atmospheric minutes of warm, rolling drums and searching synths that bring an intergalactic feel next to twinkling keys. jostling percussion brings a little loose funk and the whole thing is sure to lock in dance floors. el prevost then steps up to remix after 15 years of putting out killer cuts on labels like third ear. his music has made its way into the record bags of tastemakers like steve bug, dj hell and steffi and this excellent remix shows off his singular style again. it is a little tougher and more energetic than the original, with sprinkled hits, rumbling bass and pixelated synth lines dancing about up top. then comes red rack‘em, the bergerac boss who had a huge hit with ‘wonky disco bassline banger’ last year. it was one of the tracks of the year and has been followed by an equally brilliant album by this esteemed house veteran. his remix here is big, bouncy and off kilter thanks to its coarse hi hats and punchy rubber drums. great vocal treatment adds more wonkiness and broad synth strokes flesh things out into another sure-fire party starter that sounds like little else. last but not least, el prevost offers up a solitary state mix of his own ‘temper mental’. it’s a hugely inventive track with great synth modulations burrowing deep into your brain as dancing hi hats and whirring bass encourage you to cut loose and shift freaky shapes. this is a strong ep that really packs a punch across four standout tracks.

bomb after bomb! a new my rules records original coming straight from label boss justin van der volgen. fresh off the back of his latest ep which featured peak-time versions of shit robot s lose control and felix dickinson s burning flame , this one sees him on a whole other but no less floor-filling trip. coming in regular and dub mixes, no vacancy sounds like a lost brooklyn dub-soca-reggae-house classic. the a side charges with warped machine percussion, chanting vocals, a militant rhythm section and a seriously heavy bass line. flip to the b side and check justin s impressive dub skills. stripping the track back, he maintains complete propulsive energy, all the while adding plenty of psychedelic twists sure to melt minds. expect to hear your favourite leftfield, deep-digging, big room selector dj ripping the dance all year with this.

next up on hell yeah is -the most balearic record i have ever released- according to label boss & it comes from japan s disco don max essa which features a four part track, themes from the hood, the cad, & the lovely, on one side of vinyl, and two more on the flip. essa was born matthew bruce and the uk artist has now been releasing his blissed out beats on labels like feel music, electric minds, bear funk and is it balearic? recording for a decade. a prolific producer whose big hits like panorama suite/uptown vibration (is it balearic?) from 2010 have long been in the hell yeah boss s record bag, essa first approached the label with a bunch of tracks. a good correspondence alchemy ensued and together the artist and label decided to put out the most timeless 12inch possible. the exquisitely ambitious themes from the hood, the cad, & the lovely is almost 12 minutes of serene ambient synth work that is like a soundtrack to a hot summer s day. heavenly chords sound just like a breathy female vocal and as they come and go, one finger piano tinkles add real emotional beauty and gentle twinkles shimmer in the distance. half way through lazy drums propel things along at a loveably lethargic pace and immediately place you on the beach. on the flip, saguaro is just as organic and beautiful, but has tumbling drums, wooden hits and soft claps as well as essa s magical synth work all bathing your soul in warm rays. b2 buran chime is perfectly horizontal and expansive, with tinkling triangles, angelic chords and scattered hits and harpsichord sounds all radiating effusively. this is timeless music that will calm busy minds now and forever.

&#8232,ricochet is an unashamed terrace bomb which has been tried and tested by the boys all winter. nothing complicated here, just big beats and tension-filled break that satisfies the dance-floor with the introduction of a familiar sounding old school hip-hop style lead. dubby chords then switch the track up for a few bars before going back to business. the flip opens with transcend, an understated acid track perfect to keep things lively mid- set. the lead weaves it’s way through the track whilst playing with a barely audible vocal and plenty of groovy percussion.
&#8232,the record closes with dubinnovation - something quite different from either of the producers’ usual styles. as the title suggests, the track takes influence from dub, using the sampled voice of lee scratch perry. rolling beats, rasping bass and mind warping effects make this the ultimate after party weapon

the divergent label is set to build on the success of its first release with a standout second single this spring, this time from exciting new artist end to end, co-produced by label boss bimas. the single also features a remix from the head honcho as well as stephan krus and is another fine package that is set to further cement the reputation of this up and coming imprint. paolo aliberti is an italian artist who has worked with labels like melodica and stealth since starting out in the 80s. his big and bouncy techno sound has a focus on melody, groove and harmony, and he recently linked with the ceo of media records to start this new alias end to end

out for a moment supra comes back in full swing! for its return the parisian imprint presents a collab between super talented french producer onelight and one of the label’s dearest and biggest influence, the legendary egyptian lover. after tuggspeedman, a first release supported by busy p, gilb’r and machinedrum, onelight continues here his musical path with this silver ep. silver is a sophisticated blend of electro funk, break beat and techno. the song is inspired by his obsession for silver rings and more precisely for their sound, spiritual and magnetic energy. who else than the californian legend egyptian lover can provide here some hypnotic vocals? indeed the 808’s king takes his inspiration from all the symbolic of rings and gems and brings to the song his very unique and charismatic touch. maxillaire is going slower but is definitely powerful. it sounds like a 97 bpm techno music made for a space travel soundtrack with a codeine cup. label boss luc supra and orestt (evrlst / mb labworks) team up as supra allstars and deliver the silver deep re rub that appears to be the perfect bridge between detroit and l.a. definitely one for the clubs !

the next 12 inch from departures records comes from croatian producer and low income squad label boss szch. after his well received releases on lll and his own imprint, he joins departures with an ep that boasts his trademark raw and distorted sound.

its a well-known fact that total science are massive winners – or weiners, depending which sausage factory you bump into them at. and here with their brand new turn around ep, theyre now putting that into vinyl format with some of their nearest and dearest fellow victors. comprised of four killer cuts that combine a raft of their influences, the title track turn around takes you back to the early 90s jungle sound. they combine once again with symmetry label boss and all round drum and bass badman break for big time winners, summoning the ghost of rave past. the music master calibre steps into the cia fray once again to remix the beautiful ts classic walk the same lines with riya, and they also combine with fellow bristol resident and technical wizard dlr on too close for comfort, taking you down a deep rabbit hole. total sciences turn around ep signals their intent for 2017 – consider this your first warning!

incoming! adult only 46 is here and it’s another biggie. chris carrier’s trusty label always delivers the funk and this release is no exception. featuring rhythm&soul plus russian newcomers belogurov and orbit and the bossman carrier himself, it’s comprised four tracks, all with their own unique groove and atmosphere – perfect for anyone who loves deep rhythmic house music with hypnotic sensibilities. rhythm&soul takes one side of the record, the first of his tracks ‘take off’ comes in with sturdy beats pushes things along at a steady pace. his use of ‘live’ sounding percussion is evident throughout, working perfectly alongside a captivating double bass keeping things moving. if you manage to stay still while this is playing then there’s something wrong with you, utterly irresistible. the second track from the madrid-based producer is another upbeat joint. the deep bassline bounces up and down while razor sharp hats slice and dice their way through the lower end. as with most of rhythm&soul’s work, there are lots of nuances and details peppering the track, keeping it interesting from start to finish. on the flip side we have the russian boys belogurov and orbit, who deliver eight minutes of pleasure with ‘jysk’. smooth cosmic grooves rise up off this steaming hot, sensual cut. a naughty allure emanates from this track as it moves forward, subtle pads swirling in the background to suck you in and keep you locked to the groove. and to round things off, chris carrier delivers a typically eccentric roll out. subtle beats are placed over an analogue low end together with a selection of strange sounds direct from carrier’s well-equipped lab. variations in the rhythm and texture keep this one interesting all the way until the end.and there it is, another hot one from the adult only camp… strictly for over 18s!

the grooves of thomas white and pete williams aka natural rhythm, have been a mainstay in the sets of robsoul boss phil weeks for more than a decade. today he pays ‘tribute’ with a special re-release of some of his favourites. born in a garage in the late 90’s, natural rhythm was a meeting of passionate musical minds. working together the pair sought to create their own style and sound, influenced by the tracks they were regularly spinning in their own dj sets across the country. creative sampling and their own raw beats, together with live instrumentation and regular guest vocalists, saw natural rhythm create a strong catalogue that, as we know, are still getting played today. with three albums and over 35 ep/single releases to their name, there more than enough music for label boss weeks to select from for the tribute ep. a tough job? of course. however, phil went straight for the four that never leave his box. leading the ep are the sun-drenched vocal vibes of ‘something big’, the title track of natural rhythm’s 1999 release on under the counter. our a2 is the lead track from 2001’s last call at the martini ranch ep, ‘chicago nights’, with its quaking bassline and disco dalliance. on the flip we’re treated to a choice selection from natural rhythm’s 1999 double album contrast in nature. first up with its celestial chimes and thumping kick is ‘smoldering island’, taken from the original part 1. closing the tribute release and taken from part 2 is the devilishly funky and suitably titled feelgood jam ‘energized’. we definitely are!

desolat label boss loco dice is back with what is sure to be a massive autumn package: he has remixed the seminal dance track ‘go’ by the legendary moby, twice, and has made it all his own in the process. moby needs little introduction: the american dance producer and live performer’s albums are classics of the genre that are celebrated far and wide. they have been used on thousands of adverts, have given rise to hit singles all over the world and have made him one of the most celebrated electronic music stars of our time. his ‘go’ track was what started it all for him back in the 90’s, and was a bona fide club classic of the day. it still resonates today and always gets crowds going. now it has been remixed twice by loco dice, who has added his own stamp to it in distinctive fashion. his first excellent version is eight minutes of chunky and tribal drums, with rubber kicks, clipped horn stabs and big hits all building the pressure. those most famous vocal cries really finish it off in style, and ensure that dance floors will go wild whenever it is dropped, as do wonky synths and big piano chords at the breakdown. the second version is more emotive, with big sweeping strings smeared in the background to help make it all the more dramatic, teary eyed and impactful on the floor. this one is for the peak time in any set and is sure to make the most memorable moment of any night. both remixes here pack a real punch, and whilst remaining true to the original, they both sound just like you would expect from modern dance heavyweight loco dice.

2016 is shaping to be a fantastic year for rebirth records, the 10th year anniversary and the 100th release…to celebrate this special date the label owner shield and his right arm robytek get in the studio to collaborate with two of the most innovative figures of the end of 70s / early 80s. the a side is the the pyramids with isabelle antena, french singer and songwriter, founding member of electro-samba pioneers antena. in the 1990s she also led another group, the powaga sisters, for three albums between until 2004. alongside these projects she maintained a solo music career, selling over a million albums and earning musical acclaim across the globe. from camino del sol (1982) to bossa super nova (2010), her cool latin, bossa, jazz and funk vibes have delighted ears and feet worldwide. the pyramids is something really special, a cosmic and balearic song with a timeless meaning, with the collaboration of martin ditcham (sade s percussionist) for the drum and paolo mantini, a real italian talent, for the bass and chords. the aa side is now, a collaboration with salvatore principato (sal p.) and dennis young, known as the vocalist and marimba/percussionist of (for the legendary early 80 s nyc band liquid liquid) seminal nyc minimalist-funk band liquid liquid. the experimental sounding band emerged from new york city s vibrant downtown scene in 1981, developing their own unique sound which they called big beat, a fusion of irresistible basslines, junkyard percussion and urgent, free-flowing lyrics. the group s successes included club hits such as cavern (sampled by grandmaster flash in the making of white lines), bellhead and optimo in addition to sold-out concerts worldwide. sal p and dennis still explore today new ways of writing & performing music. now is the experimental way to combine the live drums played by snacks (the berlin based duo rene corbett & aljoscha babel), with the electronic world and the unique musical textures from sal p and dennis young.

the slingshots were born in august of 2008 with the idea of recalling and recovering the rhythmic patterns of funk, the warm vocal melodies of soul, the rich instrumental approach of jazz and the energy of rock, from its origins until our times, to offer a danceable rich selection of music and sounds, suitable for everybody, specially those in love with black music. seven men holding many years of experience through a wide and varied musical career form the band.

known as pantaleon perez prado, was the younger brother of the famous king of mambo. pantaleon, who came to europe in the 1950s, recorded several albums with unifunk. a powerful big funk band sound featuring: tullio de piscopo, mario rusca, paolo tommelleri, pino prestipino and others. for this second lp, the obscure vocalist don alfio had gained enough prestige within the band to share the top of the bill with the bandleader. that is probably because, in october 1973, the love child 45rpm (which has nothing to do with the 1968 supremes hit) had enjoyed a good airplay on supersonic, a daily italian public radio show that presented a lot of freshly released records. the djs explicitly credited the record to don alfio with perez prado. the reviving of chicago banana from escandalo!, plus many new tracks including circle, imperfect and the jazzy chato, gave the record a precise latin-funk attitude. bossanova evergreen bahia (also known as na baixa do sapateiro) and a synthled version of ciliegi rosa (cherry pink and apple blossom white) are the only two concessions to latin standards.

galdoors announces its 5th release, from label boss junes. after a run of successful eps featuring artists such as elgato, leif and audio werner, young uk producer junes steps up with three diverse cuts that push forward the labels emerging sound. despite its relative youth, the label has developed a distinctive aesthetic through minimalist, hypnotic house tracks that are making waves on both sides of the water, heavy support has come from big-boy jocks like ben ufo, daniel bell and mike huckaby. earlier this year, co-owner tamess gal004 release featured on joy orbison’s radio 1 essential mix and ben ufos dekmantel festival promo video, establishing the labels forte for delivering the best productions of its co-owners. gal005 is no exception, with junes developing his sound through an assured three-tracker. root pattern leads the way: a killer groove that cuts perfectly through an undulating melodic soundscape. on the flip, transfer bubbles over - playful yet threatening - and iced finishes off with a broken slab of soundsystem tension.

following on from big releases by the likes of cherie lee, the storming danse club records are back with another big house classic that comes complete with on point remixes from dutch tech house hero lauhaus, label bosses brodanse plus bass culture alumni john jastszebski whos version will be vinyl only. kalishas original is a classic house beat released on n sync inc back in 1992, but it still sounds hugely on point. with garage inflected beats, grainy, catchy percussion and pristine chord stabs it is an ebullient jam that brims with personality. the recognisable vocal samples help take it to the next level and mean it cannot fail to fill dancefloors everywhere. updating the track for modern listeners are the three remixes.

1nce again is back, this time with the first single in a double package! this is the first of two 12 inches containing one of our absolute favourite tracks from prolific producer ken duke aka dj duke. closer was orginally released back in 1994 on dukes power music records and the amazing klubb kidz mixes quickly found its way into many djs record bags, including label boss mad mats who rates the flava dub as one of his favourite deep house cuts of all time. if u ever heard mats spinning a house set chances are big you have heard this mix blasted loud! first up for remixes duties this time is mark seven, parkway/parkwest label owner, a true djs dj, a passionate music lover and record collector extrodinare. the so close mix of closer is deep house at its finest, an homage to the classic prescription sound keeping it ultimately atmospheric. the stalker mix continues on the same vibe yet develops into something more meaty and pumping during its course. together with the original klubb kidz flava dub and the mark seven mixes this release got everything a true deep house head needs.

nice price deal !!! being in the same gene pool as pat sharpes hair is enough of a stigma to steer any young djs career off course - deep in the discos of pop trash. fortunately for metaphi / metske, although still benefitting from the same glossy 90s locks as the radio-jock/distant uncle, musical inspiration came from more complex climates. wigflex006 acts as a fine electronic switchboard to metaphis archive of talents, a complicated circuit board of the experimental ranging from hip hop, idm, and garage to blues harmonicas and classical rifts, seamlessly melted into one gloop of green circuitry where each musical discipline must co-exist with another. as metske the bpms hover around 95, the framework is hip-hop, the sound often skwee but the influences thereafter are endless, slow train blues clicks its way through a steam train intro before marring the lines between electronic music and the blues with a self-composed harmonica rift worthy of howlin wolf. at the same tempo spin states delves into the cosmic with pipey neon chords and bit-crunched bass: sega mega drive boss level business. metaphis taste for big room techno is blatant and genetically wigflex over sharpflex, and in terms of nationality its mongrel, half notts, half eastern europe. with concious mentis hes keeping things minimal but charged from lower frequencies and messmode progresses with some serious dancefloor swagger.
