this is the 13th label d!fus release, just after the terence parkers finally ep pressed on wax too. eedio was the first french artist signed on legendary bpitch control label during 2000s. many releases after that and a remix for agoria (kofea (eedio speaking remix) alongside the sky is clear (michael mayer remix)), eedio was on d!fus early hours with his elation (to feel) ep / d!fu 002 in 2007.
now it is time to maturity with a new ep called 43, including two very well known remixers, announcing a new lp to come in december.

some may know pional as the john talabot collaborator responsible for stand tracks *destiny* and *so will be now* from his critically acclaimed *fin* album - an album frequently ranked as one of the best electronic records of 2012. his invisible/amenaza ep brings the groove and audio-perfectionism of these collaborations but adds an unsettling sense of paranoia which brings the music depth and tension - *invisible amenaza* translates as invisible threat. pionals influences arent really worn on his sleeve, but the forward thinking producer adds his influences of the zombies, roy ayres, and the police into a sound that manages to work on the dancefloor as well as the headphones.

punch drunk proudly closes 2013 with a fearsome new 12 inch single from hodge. this release marks his first solo release on the label following up his collaboration with peverelist entitled *bells*, which appeared earlier this year. previous releases for deadplate and well rounded housing projects have been well received, but we believe that this new record is certainly his best to date.

polymath james leyland kirby must surely have one of the most confounding cvs in the business: he spent years taking the piss out of the music industry with anthems rallying against the (vv)mcps, he notoriously fell out with various well known record labels for reasons you ll just have to google, goaded aphex twin with a series of tributes and channelled his love of everything from falco (rock me amadeus), chris de burgh, frankie goes to hollywood and stockport karaoke nights into a stream of increasingly bizzare 7 s back in the early noughties. but at the same time he was responsible for releasing some of the very earliest material from boards of canada (hell interface: 1997), made a ruck of frankly groundbreaking industrial electronic records, brought new beat to the worlds attention and, in 1999, made his first album as the caretaker, a project that would go on to release some of the most loved ambient/ lynchian albums of recent times.

sneaky music is the new imprint from andy bird, the man behind the infamous love fever parties, and producer ranacat. to kick off the new label they have chosen silk 86 to roll out the honours with an ep that showcases silk 86s evolution from the well received clear waters debut on manuccis mistress. the pleasure venture represents a compelling package of crisp production meets gritty warmth with a splash of that 80s sleaze. the pleasure venture ep leads with *felicity*, a production oozing with warmth from the offset. hypnotic vocal cuts pepper throbbing pads and bass stabs giving way to a meandering melody that weaves in and out. on the flip, *the exchange* fuses classic percussion of the windy city and a zig-zagging pad sample hinting at low slung 7am sleaze. *nightdrive* is when the freaks come out, as silk 86 hits eerie vocal snips to a twilight swansong that will disorientate and delight.

in the spring of 2012 yot teamed up with scottish born vocalist soom t (renegade masters). the product of this recording session? the first track on yot 4, the moody epic funk shuffle beat banger *the cure*. rising synths, tough beats and heaps of squelch all pushed up against soom ts unmistakable flow. a sure shot was born.

we are really happy to finally announce the release of the 7th record as the next in the series of full eps. dustins debut record comes as a result of nearly two years work between artist and label to get the perfect tracks for this full release and we feel it has been well worth the wait.

the title track for schallbox015 is delivered by none other than label boss steve cole himself. with a driving groove, playfully set chords and vocals by her majestys sound (aka alexander friedrich), the original version asks every dancer for the *last dance*. or then, is this just the beginning the cast of remixers, consisting of rené bourgeois & dan caster, as well as the glitz, lines up in perfect sequence and will again set every dance floor on fire!

ol aka oleg buyanov is well known in his native russia already. he has a background extending from releases on faces records and scuzzy lo-fi hip hop beats on labels like error broadcast, idle and fine grains dating back to 2007. more recently though he has been increasingly turned on by dance floor focussed sounds and as such, here come two missives on russias capital bass (which also hosts a popular bass and garage night in moscow and has done since 2006).

mellys uses striking kicks. sobre and efficient his sounds are physical and brings a natural born good feeling on the dancefloor. the a-side is all about that, a powerfull dancefloor 180 bpm fat confort. his selectas of friends tunes on b-side is exactly on the same scale. format c brings an obsessing hardtek oldschool tune while zside brings a superb dancefloor track as well. honstely this is a total sticking 100% to the peur bleue sound style. digging for more collab! and very awaiting playing this record for real on the dancefloor!

klamauk 005 various artists release is coming with tracks from roman rauch in collaboration with his mate philta, spontanmusik head keinzweiter, tom ellis and florence based the clover. roman rauch, well known for his releases on philpot, tenderpark or quintessentials brings us with >gino< a slow and deep housebanger with a smooth bassline that unfolds into some vibes and funky monosynth jamming for a simultaneously laid back and upbeat experience. keinzweiter – >the stomp< is a laid back discoslammer, getting richer in sound untill the break where the strings come all down and make the track to a little symphony. tom ellis created with >got your back< a big groovemonster, wobbling in deep territories and shuffled percussions. closing it out, we have the clover with their track >whitening the cell<. a live played bassline, setting the stage for some expansive background synth work in the second half with some cutted microhouse elements. limited and numbered vinyls.

since day one, radiq has been showing an affinity for the afro-centric funkiness and carefully-honed sound design of modern days minimal music. as in many of his previous tracks, all six songs of >vida noir< has this certain kind of unyielding quality - long, hypnotic grooves with muted kick drum set the stage for more emancipated experiments in texture and sound design. on >a long hot summer break<, for example, the effect is utterly obvious as kicking its ass into gear with syncopated drums and strain of warm chords before animated vocal sample slips in like fingerprint. while deeply seductive interplay of those chugging percussion gives way to delighted horn of >a-dieu<, warm chord and acoustic guitar of >calling< is perfect example for radiq’s masterful sound and texture. >machine codes modified< has rather restrained structure for him, but tightly woven drums speaks eloquently about its carefully arranged funkiness and dance floor functionality. despite their repetitiveness, its surprising how well these productions forming cohesive solidarity as an album. presumably, it owes a lot to wide tonal vocabulary which is radiqs hallmark - these tracks has something concentrated, vivid qualities. this album sits just at the edge of the dance floor, but also performs its exceptional strength on intense home listening. dusky synth and truncated surge of bass of >vida noir< constructing something dark, before closing this album with modulated afro-acoustic guitar and deep falsetto voice (by the producer himself) of >rondo<. this album offers up an engaging and comprehensive amalgamation from the inquisitive sound by the maestro

authentic pew presents with its fourth release the debut of the collaboration between angel costa & attemporal under the moniker attac. forcing rhythms and well chosen acid ingredients open a wide space for a hypnotising mindtrip. the following remix by perthil & aerts reinvents the previous elements more to the floor. as patria from paris focussing on their 9-minutes-journey the deeper shades of techno, before tomohiko sagae breaks it all down with industrial noises and terrifying beats.

it is jam citys turn to deliver a batch of sweaty, streamlined dancefloor weapons on the 6th installment of the club constructions series. the minimalism and intensity of jersey club music remains a huge influence on the whole night slugs camp, and while jerseys impact can be felt across the cc series, jam city channels those devastating ghostly kick drums like none other. continuing on from where he left off with club favourites *the courts* the *how we relate to the body*, jam drops 5 lean and intense drum workouts build from scrap metal and primed for warehouse use. they move between thudding midrange persistence and just-sub-and-air minimalism, framed by jammed drum machine rhythms and splashes of re-sampled colour. jam decorates these sturdy and well-deployed undercarriages with silvery detail, percussion fragments, broken talkboxes, whispered vox and simple, beautiful chords.

for the next release on his mb disco label, martin brodin licences *nka mo dira* - one of the biggest downloads in south african music history, which has also had its music video voted as the best of the year by the star newspaper. the track then gets some fine remix treatment from the boss himself as well as full pupp label boss and disco pin up prins thomas.

filippo blasi foglietti is another third ear find well worth checking. the john nixon memorial ep is trippy, dark, deep and grooving. there are four different grooves here, all of which can disconcert and disorientate. perfect for tripping up and tripping out the dance floor.

northern irishman ejeca makes his second appearance on london based needwant after his highly successful horizon ep. title track together showcases the talented producers style when it comes to combining a new twist on 90s garage with a 4/4 beat. the tracks huge euphoric breakdown cleverly reference the past whilst still keeping the future in mind, a signature sound that ejeca has become so well known for over the past twelve months.

josia played his colourful,excessive sound all over berlin at well-known venues as sisyphos or weekend, but also in numerous german cities and in neighbour countries like poland, luxembourg, lithuania or austria. as producer and remixer josia combines dirty electro bass lines with deep psychedelic soundscapes and effects on a base of minimal techno beats
