surprising release by gerd on the basement series with an old classic themed techno track he found on a dusty dat tape while archiving some old recordings. somehow a traditional techno track with metalic basslines, stellar string sounds and retro futuristic vocals with a classic theme... time & space. the original slower paced version did get an reshape/makeover that gives it a 2011 update that will be a standard record in the box for many! remixers on duty are rotterdams duplex duo who are back in business and deliver two remixes. timeless tracks that will stand out between all dj tools!

part ii ? axis audio. mokira once told kontra-musik that three analog tape echoes are needed to produce one mokira track. when listening to the track axis audio you can hear why. metallic bursts of sound hits like waves on an irish shore in autumn. kept together by a solid bassline and a fragile melody axis audio is an excursion in beautiful sounds. on the b-side, echospace (deepcord, modern love) makes you dance. it is distorted, it is minimal, it is raw and last but last not least, it is oh so funky. this track will move dance floors.

act re act: daaaaark is the typical expression used to define act re act. uplfting synths, spastic latin percussion, and a pummeling 808 bring some light for the harder moments.
ms. minnie: kitty ms. minnie, age 39, was caught saturday evening sneaking a 909 into the club and having her way with the hi-hats. she ripped it up in honor of larry heard before being forcefully removed by security. the whereabouts of said 909 are unknown.
the origin: a minimal bit of italo kit shoved through the hatch of a nasa shuttle (it was recorded in houston, tx after-all) and sent around several moons of several planets. what was discovered is only now being made available for public consumption.
