*sintetizzatrice* is the first recorded document of the newly founded collaboration between spectrum spools veteran donato dozzy and female vocalist anna caragnano.
though his solo work, and in his collaboration with giuseppe tilleci as voices from the lake, dozzy has achieved some of the most remarkable vistas contemporary electronic music has seen in the last decade. by removing himself from his areas of mastery to shift his focus on the voice, he has achieved a new peak. *sintetizzatrice* is the first work on spectrum spools featuring anna caragnano, a vocalist based in rome.

the extended project *inversion* follows his three track release *sleepwalkers* in 2013 and *timelines* in 2014. om unit was schooled via metalheadz. although he earned his stripes via hip hop as dj 2tall it was breakbeat-hardcore and jungle that shaped his attitude towards electronic music and the ferocious trail blazing of the metalheadz crew was an undoubted inspiration. thus it makes perfect sense that his take on this sound, his contribution to moving this sound forward comes via metalheadz. the sonic nature of the project is rooted in london, chicago and detroit- drums, subs and textures.

after the release of part 1 back in part 2 of the hackers latest album, love/kraft. alongside the digital release of this second chapter of the lp, a selection of tracks from both halves will be pressed to a special, limited edition double vinyl 12inch for release on the same day.

what do you do when a live project exceeds its own ambitions? just keep doing the wonderful concerts and eventually head to the studio. sounds simple and conclusive. in the case of karocel, that was exactly how they went about it and surprisingly, all six band members made it happen. though the four marbert rocels, mathias kaden and michael-mitchi-nagler have known each other from their hometown along the gera-jena-erfurt corridor, and the karocel live shows have been well received: an album is an entirely different beast.
