addison groove (aka antony williams) bestritt als headhunter seit 2007 sieben releases auf dem einflussreichen label tempa und erwarb sich einen kultstatus innerhalb der dubstep-szene. 2010 kam dann die �berraschende wendung mit einem der fettesten bass-tracks der dekade (footcrab),und das unter dem neuen pseudonym: addison groove.das feedback zu footcrab seitens der dance-szene war ph�nomenal,von kritiker- wie von kommerzieller seite. nicht nur die dubstep-djs,sondern diesmal auch techno- & house dj-schwergewichte wie aphex twin, surgeon, ricardo villalobos und mr scruff spielten footcrab hoch und runter und machten addison groove einem breiteren publikum bekannt.addison grooves einfluss auf die uk-bass music-szene ist gewichtig und ungebrochen, und sein von chicago ghetto tek und der juke-szene inspirierter style f�hrte zu einem gro§en interesse an diesen neuen genres der bass music.die erwartungen sind hoch, doch wir sind �berzeugt,dass niemand entt�uscht sein wird.h�rt selbst!

planet mu pr�sentiert die erste musiksammlung aus der chicagoer >footwork<-szene. footwork ist hyperrhythmische, abstrakte tanzmusik, die sich bei 160bpm einpendelt und meist aus samplestuecken und phrasen bestehen, die in repetitive rhythmen und formen gedreht werden, waehrend synkopierte strukturen aus dem drumcomputer auf fette sub-basslinien treffen. bisher gibt es nur einige 12s und selbstgestaltete mix cds, die im underground kursieren.
