ltd 2020 repress - 250 copies only - chi started in the late punk years in the early eighties. a time of change and mind-blowing albums. we started doing sound experiments in an old farm in moordrecht (thanks to jan van rhee and kees van der veer). in the summer, all the doors and windows were open, birds flew in and out. in the distance we saw the highway to rotterdam. in the winter we sat close together, no heating, only blankets, candles and brandy.

emotional rescue is delighted to present a collection of works by the founding father of the modern drum movement, glen velez. collated from his first 3 solo albums from 1985 to 1989, sweet season is a snapshot in to the pioneering composing and performance of this four-time grammy winner. born in 1949, of mexican american ancestry, velez grew up in texas before moving to new york in 1967. playing jazz on the drums he soon gravitated to hand drums from around the world (frame drums in particular), seeking out teachers from many different musical traditions.

nice price deal !!! ferdinando apicella a.k.a. singular anomalies was born in naples. he has his first approach with the music when at the age of 10 his father gave him his first piano keyboard. in 1994 he listened to for the first time to a techno tape from derrick may, he had directly a big passion for techno detroit. so he started playing with his first vinyls, knowing labels as metroplex, underground resistance, transmat, axis, m-plant, and following djproducers like jeff mills, robert hood, kenny larkin, mike banks. for a period of time, he abandoned the techno scene to learn some jazz music, but after some years, obsessed by the techno music, he started studying seriously electronic music production, obtaining the degree of sound engineer and sound designer.
