a return to vr from ben sun, who delves into deeper territory on the original cut, emotive analogue synths washing over a roland drum groove and a swirling female vocal, all underpinned by a warm, rumbling bassline. the flipside features some heavyweight remix work from the prolific deep space orchestra (use of weapons, art, delusions of grandeur) and label mate tyson ballard teaming up with vincenzo (poker flat, dessous). vincenzo and ballards mix is a heavy hitting, moody take on the original, with subtle, dark strings and a growling, evolving bassline, while dso round off the release with trademark fat drums and soaring melodic synth work.

radioactive orchestra is an attempt to interpret gamma radiation, which has its origin in the nuclei of atoms, and translate it into sounds and music. gamma radiation consists of photons and is, in essence, the same kind of radiation as light and radio waves - electromagnetic radiation - but with a very high energy level. in collaboration with nuclear physicists bo cederwall and torbjörn bäck, music producer axel boman and media artist kristofer hagbard have created musical algorithms based on the scientists models of how radiation is emitted from various isotopes. the resulting output of melodies and sounds have been arranged into the following musical experiments. limited to 200 copies!

the -makeovers- project is a compilation of some of claudes best re-twists, some of which are so far removed they can almost be considered original works. this special edition vinyl includes one of the most sought after remixes, -warpaint- originally by pocket 808 in australia, vonstroke turned this into a late night anthem in 2007. played by techno djs, dubstep djs, and everyone in between this track was never cut to vinyl until now. on the flip side claude remixed the nublu orchestra out of new york. he was never completely happy with the original version of the remix and hes gone back and re-made it into a very special piece of music including a new vocal sample from his wife aundy who also did the vocal effects in whos afraid of detroit? this collection was put together with the theme that a remix can be an inspiring starting point for an entirely new piece of music. these are two of the deeper and darker remixes but we think you agree they are also very special.
