some used to think that here s a guy who s just too cute to be underground, but sebastien bouchet proved them all wrong - with releases like the trippy -fallen angel- ep (kompakt 210) or his gutsy contribution to kompakt s speicher series (kompakt extra 77). he also had a spectacular appearance on you and your hippie friends inaugurating release -a very nice combinado volume uno- (yayhf 01) with the tune -captain drag- - which went on to be played around the world, from clubs and festivals to chanel fashion runways. now, sebastien returns with coyote cry, his first full-blown ep for the hippie dance sister label: eclectic and unique, this five tracker reflects different sides and moods in his work, but always takes the momentum center stage - from the guitar-infused vocal shaker jambe de bois to the heavy-duty bass of jatagarazi or the melancholic drive of the glistening title cut.

rumble records present a reissue of serge gainsbourg s du jazz dans le ravin, originally released in 1966. gainsbourg, the original bad boy of french pop, the man who updated the french chanson and made it hip again infusing it with the youth culture of the late 50s and 60s, ruled by jazz, drugs, and free love. very different from his celebrated later works, the music captured on this vinyl edition finds gainsbourg mixing traditional chanson and big-band jazz rather than the avant garde pop that went on to define his career outside of france. this record presents a revealing insight into the early years of this iconic figure.

for the second release of 2017 macadam mambo is launching a special compilation of adjustments made by friends and members of the label (kilian krings, sneaker/dunkeltier, obermannkind, panoptique, mori ra, shiny boots, misha geylen, smagghe & cross, guillaume des bois, johan ressle..). mostly very obscure tracks in sacha’s « metalic vibe », from post-punk to synth-pop, experimental and more… big up to artist khwezi strydom’s painting from lyon for the artwork !!

mos ferry, roland europe and dapayk proudly present the transformation remix contest winner ricky ambilotti. his remix got most of the votes in the final one-out-of-five public voting. and now it runs on the a side of mos ferrys 80th vinyl record. a reworked version from minimal techno beard-o marek bois on the b side completes the pictures. this is a perfect follow-up on dapayk solos well acclaimed album >nofilter<
