hi limonada friends! here is limonada 06, after big supports on our last releases by villalobos, luciano, salvatore freda, steve lawler, jimpster, loco dice, tiefschwarz, nick curly. thanx again for helping us growing our label! for this release, we are proud to introduce a very talented guy from spain, sergio parrado, also owner of my little dog records. after his massive tune el abuelito, sergio returns with las hualtatas, a very nice groovy and sexy house track, with some glitch sample in a kind of björk voice. for the remixes: malik by oscar barila, a very efficient deep house track with some us oldschool voice, scan mode with a killer break snare roll from the past and a big chicago techno remix from our buddy arnaud le texier from safari electronique!

*bastard child of house* is a tribute to chicagos most famous record store. inspired by a video about some native chicago guys working at the store, peter schumann and kareem decided to set words to a tune and create their own version of the story. they asked their buddy dcnt if he could add his interpretation too. and so it happened that words became sound and sound inspired more sound and as we speak everything turns into words again. with both versions the tooliness is very obvious, while the original is organic and warm in terms of tone and sound design, the dcnt version has a more technoish feel and relies heavily on its edgy and straightforward character.
