the minister of edits, jaz, follows up his amazingly ace twelves on beard science and sixty five with his first full length cd, which naturally features another 13 edits. 12 of these are previously unreleased and none of them disappoint - theres not a dud track on the disc! on i played sports jaz takes us right across the board, from balearic mellowness via spacious choral cosmic rock to a mix of underground and full-on disco. all the time he never goes for the obvious heard-em-before tracks to mess with, instead these cuts will have even the the most well-versed in the balearic / cosmic / disco arts scratching their heads in wonder.

slow groovin disco and funk edits!! fresh back in

the first of two 12inches from jazs fantastic album, i played sports, is a 4 track masterpiece of edits. side a is funky vocal disco of glamsanity and the slow chugger the epsicopal church welcomes you. side b is the other chugger from the album, give me some love and the balearic beauty, love in the water follows it. limited to 500 - this should not be missed!

claremont 56 sublabel with another collection of stunning disco tracks. track one is a peak into the album by jaz that will be released later this year and is a driving disco number for peak times. on the flip manchester s cosmic janes edits are not the obvious choice of tracks...but therefore much more interesthing then many of the edits combg out these days. diving into the 80s obscure pop releases we have some excellent tracks that will get the party started!!
