that man is sabb, a tech house producer from kosovo who has eight plus years of experience of turning out infectious club tracks. he has done so on labels like noir and saved, and here serves up a great single that comes with remixes by dennis ferrer and detlef.

up first, juice machine is a barreling cut with pinging drums that ride up and down in infectious style. carefully treated vocals echo up top and add a dub flavour as subtle rave horns and old school motifs also colour the groove. when remixed by re.you, the track becomes a more subdued, deeper cut with spraying synths and a sense of late night paranoia in the grooves. lastly, badass acid is a minimal cut with warm pads, hiccuping sine waves and a growing sense of synthetic tension. it s a masterful bit of slow burning craftsmanship that has icy hi hats to die for.

the original he serves up here is my groove, a firmly rooted and solid bit of house music with classically inclined vocal chants by gjeazon from crazy like a fox records, that recall eddie amador s biggest cut. subtle details embellish the groove and make it all the more standout, and those deep looping basslines really pull you into the middle of the track, which also has airy hi hats and a sleazy sense of funk. the first remix comes from afterparty founder, rinse fm radio host, former usher tour dj, southern fried affiliate and pioneer collaborator doorly, who also runs his own pigeon hole label. his remix smooths out the kinks and simmers a grainy groove for seven shuffling, seductive minutes. rolling effects and a big breakdown are sure to make for some fist pumping moments in the club. last to remix is play it down producer and foremost danish dj christian nielsen. he does so with an increased sense of urgency and his track hits that bit harder as a result, all thanks to a dirty down low bassline that just rolls and rolls.

the 75th ep on moon harbour is one that connects the past with the present: the release is made up of three remixes and re-edits of classic tracks by label boss matthias tanzmann. charged with serving up these goods are one third of apollonia, namely frenchman shonky, saved records boss nic fanciulli and his brother mark and, finally, matthias himself updates one of his own cuts.

now a firm part of the modern moon harbour make up, frequent label artist sven tasnadi is back with a new ep that comes complete with a fantastic remix by marco faraone.

title track don t stop is a loose and playful thing that chucks loopy, circular drums, little vocal riffs, synth stabs and tumbling toms into the mix and lets them all groove along for almost six infectious minutes. its a spritely, silvery and slithering concoction that makes you shake your every limb. stare is a deeper, darker thing with rattling snares rolling over flappy kick drums and wobbling synths ducking in and out of the space left behind. its a tumultuous, drum lead affair that toys with your expectation, threatening to drop or explode but never quite doing so, instead keeping you right on the edge of your seat throughout. the final offering is nian which again has super well defined drums and hits all tumbling and sparking off each other. it s spacious stuff, too, and the indecipherable foreign language vocals add another layer of intrigue to what is already a fascinating cut.

following on from the success of ekkohaus debut album, no school, last year, moon harbour now offer a selection of high quality remixes. the chosen ones include watergate mix star and bona-fide house godfather kerri chandler, made to play boss jesse rose, label regular sven tasnadi and greek producer john dimas.

this sampler was compiled and mixed by dan drastic, who has been part of moon harbours artist roster for more than seven years and recently released his noodle stories ep on our label. he regularly hosts the moon harbour nights at the leipzig club distillery and is one of the most active moon harbour deejays, together with matthias tanzmann and luna city express.

mit >movin< beschert uns marlow den ersten vocal track auf mh seit langem.. den gesang liefert die jenaer sängerin delhia alias franziska grohmann die bereits zur letzen marlow ep <quiet> gesang und lyrics beisteuerte.. ein hauch von frühling kehrt in beiden marlow tracks ein !! beim tanzmann remix ist nix mehr mit frühlingsswing, willkommen zurück auf dem trockenen moon harbour boden, mit schweiß, masterplan und bodyrock !!
