luv shack records is kicking off the year 2015 with release # 15 - another blissful split ep, this time featuring hard ton and daso, as well as nick anthony simoncino on remix duties.

it has been too long since private gold has seen fit to unleash the audio dragon to dropkick our listening holes. but unleash they finally have, in the guise of ex-cologne enfant terrible, daso. daso is a longtime associate of the private gold family, and it was only a matter of time before he poked his head out of his new berlin cave to spray the landscape with some much needed fire

for its ninth release popcorn is proud to present the second ep of the man from koeln that we do not introduce anymore: daso. this artist who became a real friend and mainly one of the head artist of the label is one of the talented producer in the recent electronic music circus. immer, the main track of this release, gathers a collection of generous and deep sounds sprinkled with hypnotics’ synths: no mistake. the italian nico lahs (ovum, poker flat…) gives us a brilliant own interpretation playing with the bass through acid touches. definitely underground. schub the second original of this opus confirms dasos potential to produce deep house. strong original themes, romantic piano, voices and rollands drums are a sweet taste of springs. chordster is the last original but not the least. the lead piano drives the acid snare all along the track. the result is more than effective and brings your mind right into dasos universe, forever.

the popcorn machine is proud to announce its fifth outing with his german and romantic friend daso. being one of the most talented producer in the recent electronic music circus, daso released on labels such as connaisseur, flash records, spectral sound and more. his tracks are played by many prominent djs and can be found on countless compilations. the head title here, all my people gathers a collection of generous and warm house sounds sprinkled with techno sonorities. this emotional track abruptly and unexpectedly changes into a truly techno hymn.

the two berlin residents and great friends, jin choi (archipel, lesizmo:r) and daso (my best friend, spectral sound) present us with the first summer tune of the year, >teer<. the original has already featured on the 5ysyst compilation and today we feature its new edit. beautifully deep, piano laden and featuring incredible vocal work, >teer< is set for a successful summer season. backing the new edit, are two stunning remixes from systematic regular, rodriguez jr. and the mighty, quenum! >due to the never ending feedback of many friends and djs we have decided to take this very different and outstanding track off the compilation and release it as a single.<

finally, juli holz is back on stil vor talent. the whispery and enchanting voice of the blonde singer and producer can now be heard again on two new tracks on stil vor talent + oliver koletzki rmx. while her topics are still clearly defined, circling around music, love and life in the big city, her music has become more house-orientated and is even mingling with straight pop music.

one sided killer application!! some tracks are so weird, that they can neither be fit into a regular release schedule, nor an appropriate b-side be found. for these black sheep we have decided to create a small niche on connaisseur supérieur. the cnss black edition will sporadically present tracks that are way out of our usual categories… with >numb<, daso finally opens his >panteras< box and again proves his ability to rock reeeally hard. the track actually consists of two seperate tracks whose combination has proven itself during several of dasos live performances. it is the transition between the two tracks that makes the crowd go mad. the clonky intro (already published on ware records as mud max - zampone (maderfotor rmx)) morphs into a giant breakdown with perhaps familiar sounding spoken words before it suddenly reincarnates as a ravey monster from hell! numb shouldnt be taken too seriously and is definitely not for all occasions, but dropped at the right moment, this atom-bomb will cause serve damage on dance- floor-gro

this is the first ep on flash recordings that doesnt feature label owners florian meindl and oliver koletzki. but they have made sure to look for a quality replacement. no one else than cologne-based artist daso - renowned for his previous releases on labels like mbf, session deluxe, ghostly and connaisseur - teams up with his buddy pawas to create their first release >night express< on flash. pawas has just had his first record out on adam krolls and markus müllers imprint squonk records and has been a dj for 9 years, moving from india to cologne one year ago. on the a-side daso & pawas foreshadow the summer with the track >tgv<: a beautifully deep melody that swings along a powerful loop. >ice< - the name of germanys high-speed train is clearly more electro-driven. a slightly broken beat with a thumping organic bassline pumps above an ever-changing soundscape that culminates in some euphoric high-pitched synths. never too much, this is a perfect example for elegant understatement. also on the flip side is the track >bummelzug<, which translates as >very slow train< in german. this is a dub-techno masterpiece. deep dubs and arpeggios flow over the simple beats with a great clappy snare drum. dreamy, hypnotic, melodic! flash recordings has just become fit for the summer
