After the well received dance floor bombs from BLM's 'Sudden Death' EP, secretsundaze is back, this time to present a sublime EP from Yorkshire bred Younandewan entitled 'Times'.



Title track 'Times' is deceiving with its melodic flourish and trademark sweet vocal samples yet lurking underneath are techno undertones with its heavy, dusty and almost industrial kick. 'Be Dark' also has the same thuddy kick but this time moody synths and mysterious spoken words wash over the groove, before a single key played out lifts its up to a slightly to a less dark place giving a glimmer of hope. 'Squared' goes for a more soulful and garagey sound but still retains Ewan's atmospheric flourishes and attention to detail. 'What You Mean' probably the deepest cut on the 12" illustrates Ewan's deft touch combining sweet vocal snippets and classy sound design.



We think Youandewan is only getting going and this EP perfectly showcases his sound. With gigs this summer at Hideout and Echo festivals, Trouble Vision and not forgetting secretsundaze's legendary Sunday day and night session at Sonar. So another perfectly formed EP from secretsundaze showcasing Youandewan's fresh and original take on house music in 2013.
