Juice On Wax is back with another irresistible slice of wax, this time from Berlin-based edit specialist Voodoocuts. He brings his signature jazzy touch to two classic tracks, starting with 'That Cool Loop', which is a version of Us3's 'Cantaloop' that has the Latin vibes turned up to 11 with hip-swinging and samba rhythms infused with hip-hop bars and sunny horns. Then comes a reworked take on a House of Pain classic with neat piano chords and organic percussion all oiling the steamy groove with plenty of jazzy energy while the original vocals burst out in brilliant contrast.
