Engine Music is delighted to present this next release from German wunder-trio, Triad. Comprised of Henree with releases on Soul:R and C.I.A under his belt, Bastikal, headhoncho of the much respected PhunkFiction label and L Flow a classically trained musician and avid analogue synth collector. As Triad they belong to the new breed of producers, reexamining the conventions and reinvigorating the experimentation in the dnb genre which has been lacking unitl late. Two slices of mature, open minded dnb with Spellbound on the A side. A subdued, bass heavy stepper with a naughty bassline switch up. Fortune on the flip is a little half tempo number with dubbed out samples and a sultry bassline. Or as we like to call it: a slow grinder.
