Kirk Degiorgio certainly needs no introduction, as a producer ( under numerous pseudonyms such
as As One, Esoterik or Future/Past - to name but a few ) and label operator of Applied Rhythmic
Technology ( ART ), he is one of the style-defining figures of British techno and electronica culture,
from the early nineties to the present day. And his driving and elegiac version of “Theme” can
certainly be regarded as one of the highlights of this remix album.
