The Cheapers are Berlin DJs Ruede Hagelstein and Franzen Texas. Both are resident DJs at Watergate Club, and call Upon You Records their home label. Our friends contribution to the Bar25 discography has been cooking for a long time, and now, finally, is ready to meet the light of the musical world. The title track, Too Late, is a cooperation with Berlin DJane and singer Meggy, who has already seen success this year with Re.You & Rampa. The Original is a soulful deep house track thats been freshened up with a tech-housy remix by Smash TV. Vinyl Only, the Cheapers have also added a particularly special track which features some dark sampling that the two artists refer to as gothic house
