Coming from three different corners of Europe, the band members of Supertrawler all met at Amsterdam’s Conservatorium, which became the breeding ground for their sound – a combination of contemporary psychedelic rock and adventurous alternative sonorities.
After presenting their first self-released EP “Voyagers” (2015) in their home countries Germany, The Netherlands and Spain, they chose the legendary Wisseloord Studios to record their second, self-titled EP.
Together with Grammy-nominated producer Attie Bauw a unique blend between alternative and psychedelic styles was created. Rock-solid riffs and crystal clear trippy melodies contrast with a playfully complex sound mosaic.[info sheet from distr.]
