There seems to be an unintentional Moving Shadow running theme with Vinyl Fanatiks, and perhaps that’s because the label owner was also an artist on the label for 9 years! For this release we have more Shadow artists coming together. Jay (EZ Rollers/JMJ & Ritchie), Richie (JMJ & Richie) and John (Tekniq/Kudos) all knew each other from growing up together in their hometown of Great Yarmouth. Inspired by the local raves and from their previous studio outings on a variety of labels, they decided one drunken weekend in 1994 to make a couple of tunes together, the result of which are on this 12″. Originally released on White House Records, SFAUJ captured the blossoming melodic vibe that was breaking through the jungle scene back in 1994, championed by the likes of Bukem and Fabio.
