Silat Beksi makes an emphatic return to the fore of his label Modeight, and this time he's in the collaborative company of Moscow's finest Swoy. The pair are a match made in heaven, as they traverse a multitude of sonic destinations on their aptly titled "Starburst" EP.

With their granular approaches to production well established, the pair take off with the deep undulations of "Allophone". A groove that bangs beneath a shimmer of silver tones. "Pro2" continues the journey with it's upbeat bassline swagger, and raucous key strokes.

On the flip side "The Escapist" pours ultra dreamy pads like liquid over powerful rhythmic flow, until at least we finish with the heart warming heights of the title track "Starburst". With an effortlessly refined collab like this, we hope its not their last.[info sheet from distr.]
