As the summer closes and the autumn arrives the project releases its next selection with label boss Frazer Campbell and Dark Arts techno head Stu Crosbie. Not a stranger to the label having appeared on the previous release Stuart once again delivers his unique filtered sound of stripped back minimal techno with hints of trippy yet groovy influences of dark back room excursions. A real master of simplicity but exact definition of sombre sounds. The flip side presents a very different sonic description by Frazer. ‘Bleeding gums’ holds broken beat kicks with rolling drums but as always carries a true sense of emotion and warmth. The EP closes with ‘Deebling mugs’ which is a production full of drive, dirty basslines and groove that will keep any dance floor moving as we wave goodbye to the summer of 2017.
