Nice Price Deal !!! ROAD sound like Massive Attack going on a trip to Brazil and Africa, taking with them the soul of Terry Callier and the raw funk of Gorillaz. It is a unique collaboration of musicians from backgrounds ranging from Industrial funk to Brazilian fusion, using instruments from Berimbau and Surdo to Hurdy Gurdy, Moog and double bass. Featuring vocals by Valerie Etienne (Galliano, Lucy Jules, Terry Callier, and Earl Zinger the ROAD crew deconstruct music to its roots, and rebuild it with no respect for pedestrians. The result is an infectious, fresh debut album which is to be announced for May 2007. As a first teaser there will be the single release of >My Name< which features Lorna Brown on vocals. The track comes in 2 mixes which have been both produced by ROAD and just show their versatile approach for modern urban music
