Groovepressure is excited to be re-releasing two tracks from the first ever Groovepressure release. Resonators is Groovepressure honcho Robin Ball and long time school friend Salman Montiero. Made in 1999 in a very small studio in Robin s house, Robin remembers -getting them pressed and taking them to the shops I loved in London to see if they would sell them and getting a really good reaction from the shop staff. Not that it was going to be a big commercial success or anything like that, more because the tracks had a unique sound and I think still do today. The underground scene then was a lot more freestyle but even in that atmosphere it was an unusual release. Since then it s been one of the most sort after releases from the Groovepressure back catalogue. It s an exciting time to be re-releasing this with the re-emergence of the label. Booma and Shuzzbuzz have been re-mastered and remixed by Robin Ball.
