UK producer Ossie has been popping in and out of sight for a few years now, from a solid pair of singles on the always-reliable Hyperdub label to his and vocalists Paul Black and Tilzs Black Orange Juice project. On March 31, he steps out again with a new EP for WOLF, She Knows (That Love Hurts) Heartbeating finds him stepping away from the strains of funky and R&B explored in previous outings to embrace something more approaching straight-up house music.
