The third release from nachtfrequent brings us four new fresh tracks from leo cubanero. two of them – plAy and engLish mafiA – were layed down in co-operation with patrick di stefano(generalelektrik). the first tune is a very clubby track sporting some eccentric dodgy sounds. minimal oppressive but easily triggerin your dancing feet at the same time. the following plAy plays slower but has however a very funky touch with mad pitched vocals and the jostling basslines. riGth heRe and anywhere else this track is a burner. funky fat sounds and vocals which seem to come out directly of the lunatic asylum. and finally engLish mafiA which weaves in the garb of minimal house a very nice carpet with memorable elektroid sounds. fine pads - not one gram too much
