Kool Hertz started rocking crowds over 14 years ago in the Cape Town, Jo’burg & UK scene. He’s spun next to artist’s like Cut La Roc [Rocstar], Ali B [Fabric/Kiss FM], Eddy Tm [XFM], Diesel Boy, Counterstrike [Algorythm], Pimpsoul, Stickybuds, Dj Wood, Country Cockney, Jurassik, Dj Soo & The Funk Hunters to name a few. On the radio he has had some airplay on Kiss FM [UK], NSB [UK], RTE Pulse [Dublin], Good Hope FM [CPT], 5FM [CPT] & has also been reviewed in Dj Mag & NME.
Last year saw him touring Poland & Canada.
Besides the Breaks & DJing, he creates epic albums of all sorts of genres for Music Candy. His tunes are distributed worldwide by companies like EMI, BMG & Universal Music for play on MTV, BBC, NBC etc.
Things are continually blowing up for Kool Hertz. In 2010 he released a 4-track EP on All Good Funk Alliance’s label Funkweapons as well as doing remixes and mashups for Air Recordings, Break Down Records, Royal Soul Records ect.
