Future Nuggets is a collective from Bucharest (Romania), they operate out of two studios filled will analogue equipment which we first visited18 months ago. We were blown away with the “all hands to the deck” ethos and without knowing; they had created a music making scene with which all members could experiment and help each other on their own musical journeys.

Every piece of kit at the studio was hardwired for instant use, which to my ears gives the music of the Future Nuggets a real edge so we decided to help get this music to a wider audience. This is just the tip of the iceberg so join us on the quest to dispel the myth that is limitation!

Future Nuggets talk us through Vol.1

Future Nuggets was constructed by a group of Romanian producers, diggers and musicians in their search for a local psychedelic scene informed by the past but made for the times to come. Whether we unearth a jewel directly from the past or we manufacture our own present-day hybrids within analog charged projects, we aim for the same universal sound skins and global grooves that have accompanied, seduced and finally formed our sonic psychic.
