Frida Kill is a feminist four-piece punk band out of Brooklyn, making noise about the dystopian nightmare we are currently stewing in. Frida Kill's sound is equal parts post-punk revival, filthy garage rock and experimental noise. Frida Kill's music melds relatable grooves that point to a time when rock n' roll was more visceral than cerebral and pairs that with avant garde flourishes synonymous with the sound of New York City's most iconic bands. This repertoire is delivered with the freewheeling swagger of artists that spend a decent amount of time in the drinking establishments of Brooklyn. Frida Kill released their debut LP Kill! Kill! in December of 2023 on Get Better Records and Insecurity Hits. Kill! Kill! spent over two months on the NACC 200 Radio Chart, debuting at #21 and peaking at #16. Kill! Kill!'s peak chart position at #16 was the highest chart position on the NACC 200 in the history of Get Better Records. In addition, Frida Kill has opened for such bands as Destroy Boys, Big Joanie, A Giant Dog, Scowl, Nikki Corvette, MAAFA, Shilpa Ray, Choked Up and TVOD.
